What an amazing week we spent at Raccoon Lagoon! First and foremost, Mimi is an incredible host… friendly, responsive and helpful! The home is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated with outstanding lake views and all of the amenities to make a stay comfortable and relaxing. Standouts include excellent mattresses, a FULLY equipped kitchen, cozy furniture and abundant outdoor spaces which offer a fire pit, hot tub, lake toys and a wrap around deck with a grill and fire wood! Pet friendly is also a huge bonus! We can’t wait to return to Deep Creek Lake and Raccoon Lagoon!

Our family of 10 spent a week at Raccoon Lagoon over the 4th of July. We loved the house, perfect to fit all of us. The kitchen had everything possible you could want to cook for a large group. Having 2 dishwashers plus an extra fridge really helped also. All of the bedrooms were spacious and beds super comfy plus plenty of nice bath towels were provided. We rented a boat for the week from Bill's marina and kept it the home's dock. Unlike many of the houses we saw around the lake,it was a super easy short walk to our dock with no stairs to contend with. Mimi, the owner was super to work with and very responsive to any questions or issues we had. We also took advantage of the nearby state parks to hike and golfing at Lodestone. Pizza from Brenda's is an absolute must!. The only negative I can come up with is that the house sits on a very busy road. We didn't hear the traffic at all in house nor in the back yard but I was disappointed that I couldn't walk around the area. Though the shoulder was very wide I didn't feel it would be safe to walk.

We had a wonderful time staying at Racoon Lagoon. It was the site of our family vacation this year. We enjoyed having the lake in our backyard to swim, float and dock our pontoon boat. The large backyard was fun for playing games and for having campfires at night. The house was well-equipped with dishes, glasses, silverware and other extras too. It was very comfortable for our family vacation. We had a fantastic time!

Good times! We enjoyed the lake and home, which was just a few steps from the local creamery and donut shop, and a few minute boat ride to several on the lake locations and restaurants that allowed you to dock and walk right up. Host was responsive and helpful when needed.

Visited cabin for the easter weekend. Great place with lovely lake view. Fully loaded with all listed amenities. The host is extremely understanding and always responded promptly. We had a really great time. 5-star experience from check-in to check-out.

My family of 12 and I had a wonderful stay at Raccoon Lagoon during a late September weekend. We enjoyed all the amenities plus as described. We had a small issue when we first arrived as housekeeping had not visited the rental yet. Taylor Made immediately sent a housekeeper over and all was great. We will definitely consider returning.

We loved the location...the house had electrical issues...the stove and microwave kept tripping the breakers...the stove door fell also had to have a technician come after fixing the door to fix the contacts. the grill was not working properly either....

Fabulous! Great house, plenty of parking, and spectacular view. House was roomy and wonderful to have 2 dishwashers & 2 refrigerators. Best fire pit experience we've had. This was our 5th year at Deep Creek, first at this house. Only downside was highway in the back (so a challenge to take a walk) and hard to get boat in pier due to crazy choppy water due to heavy boat traffic. Loved hot tub. Never did pool or ping pong but that's because it was perfect weather & we were in the boat every day. Celebrated 3 birthdays on the outside porch. Mama Mia what fun!

The home was perfect for 14 among our family and friends of which 6 were kids ages 5-15 . The kids occupied the rooms downstairs with the bunk beds and they had a blast, watching Harry Potter movies and games etc when the weather did not permit them to be out ! Our only concern was the maintenance- a broken dining chair 2/ a clogged toilet( upstairs master suite) 3/ kitchen -the stove handle came apart( we fixed it )4/ there are other dining chairs that need attention..

The perfect getaway in the mountains. The city life can be very hectic and overwhelming, so coming to this cozy lake-side home every year is just what we need. The home is always spotless when we arrive, complete with everything you need; equipped kitchen, board games, furnished rooms with tvs, patio furniture and even sled boards!

We rented both houses for the week of August 16th to the 23rd for a family get together and couldn't have been happier with the choice we made. These houses have everything you could hope for in a vacation spot -well stocked, well furnished, on the water (which made it easy to have a boat,) space between the houses permitting the children to pitch a tent, room to be together or enjoy quiet time. Thank you for such a quality renta1!

Rented raccoon lagoon over thanksgiving for whole family to stay and relax together without driving anywhere. My 4 children,spouses and grand kids all fit comfortably and we kept the master bedroom for ourselves for a retreat when needed. Kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you will need . I'm sure it would be great in the summer since the lake is just in your back yard. Close to everything.
Owner was easy to reach and prompt with response to questions.surprising it was nicer than the pictures show. Definitely a keeper
