Was in town for business. Hotel is very cool. it isn't the prototypical hotel as it doesn't have vending machine or snack options at the counter just so people are aware. But I would definitely book this hotel again.

While I appreciate the design aesthetic on the room, fixtures and bath, the comfort of the stay was lacking. Kudos for converting an old bank and repurposing it into a viable alternative. The entry to the lobby on the 2nd floor is confusing and not clearly marked. After going in and out of several door and hallways, I finally found signage to take the lift up, only to wander more hallways in search of reception. My primary disappointmen was with the temperature of the room. It was particullarily cold for November in Michigan. The room never did heat up after I turned the thermostat up on the mounted wall unit to the maximum allowable setting of 74 F. The floors and windows were freezing. Additionally if you happen to book a room river facing, beware of the sound of the steel plates throughout the night of the bridge at the corner. Double paned gass windows Insulated and sound deading would have gone a long way to make my stay as comforatble as the room looked. It's a shame that this was passed over when the rooms were redesigned. If the room isn't comfortable, I don't care how nice it looks.

Room had plenty of electric outlets and was very very clean. Minimal towels and minimal coffee was supplied. Unit was exactly as desribed. Lobby is on second floor.

Parking wasn’t great but, we did stay when they were redoing the parking lot however didn’t seem like they had a ton of parking in that lot. It was walkable to downtown but all the places to eat shut down/ stop serving by 10-10:30 on a Friday night. The room was a a double queen. It was very clean. The only gripe was that there wasn’t a mini fridge and the layout absolutely horrible. The sink was in the main room with the beds and the bathroom was huge and could have easily fit in the sink, it wasn’t private for getting ready considering we had our kids with us in the other bed and had to use the sink in the main room. Bathroom was too big given the space available and beds shoved into the room. It was good for just the one night stay we needed but, would not return with my family. Maybe if it was just me and my spouse.

The hotel is in downtown which is good. But there is some noise around. The WiFi signal was weak. As the hotel is in a commercial building, it is a bit inconvenient to roam around.

This hotel in an old bank is lovely. And the King-sized bed is one of the best we’ve ever slept on. The proximity to one of our favorite eateries and a new-to-us coffee shop cannot be beat! However the soundproofing could be improved. We were awakened multiple times by noise in the 3rd floor hallway from other guests.

It was okay. We didn't care for the design of the room but it was very clean. No carpet on the floor which seemed strange to us. Usually, there is carpet in the bedroom. It's a little hard to find guest check-in. The young lady that checked us out was great. She gave us a tour so we could see the vault which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Probably won't stay there again.

Property was fine. Room was nice. Breakfast to order was nice. The only problem was the room was extremely noisy. It was a Saturday night, and a lot of partying going on outside on the street. We were on the 3rd floor and it sounded like the people, bands, and traffic were right outside our window.

The only negative was a bowling establishment decided to put their speakers in the street till 2 AM and it was extremely loud we were not told ahead of time that they do this otherwise everyone was polite very clean. Coffee is excellent.

Super cute botique hotel but a bit disjointed with check in on the 2nd floor. We loved every employee we met though, and appreciated the made to order breakfast.The hotel is charming and nicely decorated however the view from the rooms is undesirable, with most windows whited out. We had a nice city view room our 1st night but the noise from the street made it so hard to sleep (even with earplugs), we had to change rooms.
I wanted to love this hotel because of it's people and charm but the cons made it a challenge. Overall if noise doesn't bother you and view isn't important then give it a try...the price is good, location is close to many restaurants, shopping, and neighboring boardwalk locations.

The property is in an amazing location. It was incredibly clean, comfortable and very spacious. It was a little difficult navigating the building at first but would definitely stay again.

This hotel is funky in a good way. Reminded me of a European college flat. Service excellent, breakfast good. Room very clean and modern. However, you have to get past the look of the outside of the building, the old, disrepair of the lower hallways and the creaking of the elevator. Once you do it is well worth it.

Very unique building and delicious breakfast included! Located right on the Black River next to the drawbridge. Room was clean and sleek with a nice waterfall shower. Parking lot right behind hotel, which is in an old bank building. Went on the Lady Huron II boat ride and it was great! Recommend eating at The Raven and Kate’s downtown, both are walking distance as is shopping and a nice riverside walkway.

We arrived to a water emergency. The room was large and updated. The hotel located on an inner water way with a charming restaurant on the water. If it had been opened during our stay we wouldn’t of checked out a day early.

There was a water main break in the area and the hotel did not offer bottled or distilled water at check in. Room layout was very weird with the bathroom sink being in the room not in the bathroom. No fridge or microwave. No amenities in the hotel. Very bare bones. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is quiet which is a plus. Good location in downtown and walkable to area restaurants. The staff need training on providing customer service.

Check-in was great, Sarah gave us a tour of the place, great location & parking. Huron Lady boat cruise across the river, several restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast included was not your typical steamed eggs etc…Tanya, also an asset to City Flats has a true passion for what she does. She and her associate made us a great fresh breakfast. My husband and I are looking forward to our next stay at the City Flats in Port Huron. Room was spacious.

The gentleman who check us in was awesome! He was very helpful and kind. We had been traveling all day and gave us some great recommendations for a bite to eat and cocktails. Our room was clean and modern. I found the bed and pillows to be the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel in a long time. We had breakfast in the cafe and it was quick and tasty and the 2 people working down there were kind and offered great service as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The room and service was great. We were a bit confused when we arrived. We couldn't tell where to enter the building and once we were inside it took us a bit to find where the lobby was. We split one going in one direction and the other and I saw a sign that pointed the direction and spoke loudly to my husband that I found the way and said "it's kinda sketchy." We rounded the corner and the desk clerk was laughing. Oops. Anyway we enjoyed our stay
