We had a very comfortable stay here. The communication with Denise and Danielle was prompt and thorough. The beach is literally steps from the back door and was great for playing beach games and throwing a ball around. The beds and furniture are all very comfortable. We were able to watch Xfinity TV and sign into apps on the TVs. My only criticism is the bathrooms didn't have a hook for a robe or a place in the shower to put soap, but we made it work, not a deal breaker. We loved our stay!

Great property and location.

We loved your home. It was just what a beach house getaway should be. The floors that heat were the biggest blessing. The bedrooms were roomy, the only comment would be that the bunk beds are for kids only as the beds were a little hard, BUT your couch made a perfect place. Your pigeon neighbor is named Priscilla as we found out she has eggs. Pedro her partner monitors here. Thank you so much for the opportunity to share.

This is our second year in a row staying at this home, we have tried a few others in previous year in the same area and this house is seriously THE BEST!!! It’s so comfortable, has everything we need, and Denise’s communication was so good!! We are already trying to book for next year, it’s just so perfect!!!

Beach front views ( amazing) & easy access to the beach. All the accommodations you would need. Property manager Denise was very easy to work with as she responded when we had a issue with the TV's. Had the best family vacation getaway! Only bummer was No Pets we would of loved to have our fur baby with us to enjoy as there are so many dogs on the beach! Perfect beach location & amazing ocean views. Easy walk to cafe & market too. The home is clean, comfy & furnished well. Bunk room is very tiny & we were surprised the walking path was right at the edge of our patio but perfect in every other way. With great hosts & peaceful stay we would book again . This property is wonderful! the location is perfect and the space perfectly decorated and supplied with everything you might need. The main bedroom bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! We will absolutely stay here again!!

House was clean and had everything we needed. Did not realize the beach towels and body boards were in the closet of the room downstairs until the last day of the trip. But definitely loved the home, the location , and the family games provided. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 5 spent a great few days at this house. We love Rio Del Mar and visit often, we will definitely want to rent this home again. It was the perfect size for our family and right on the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Aptos. Right on the beach, made watching the kids while they played on the beach really easy (we sat on the porch watching them). The kitchen is well stocked and the grill is nice and big. The location made it easy to take day trips to San Francisco, Monterey, the redwoods, and all of the different beaches along the coast. The hosts were great, checking in with us to be sure everything was as expected. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful west coast adventure!

Awesome location right on the beach!

As always, we had a wonderful time at the Rio Del Mar Beach House! The communication with Denise was top notch (as always) and our parents were first-times...and are already asking when we can go back! 4 stars only because some of the kitchen items we are accustomed to being stocked were missing and it was not as clean as prior visits including the floors (carpeting) and patio area was full of sand. Thanks for the accomodations, the location and views cannot be beat!

We enjoyed our stay at the house for a week with our family. The location is fantastic! You are on steps from the beach and that really won over the trip. Also, the place is decorated nicely. However, there were some things, though that were not so great. The kitchen was not very clean. The cabinets were dirty on the outside and in the inside. There were crumbs, drips and spills like they have not been cleaned in a very long time. The couch and cushions around the table were noticeably dirty and stained. I know everyone's level of cleanliness is different and this might not bother them. We felt there was not enough towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. A few more would have been helpful. The description stated there was beach towels, but we could not locate them. The bunk beds downstairs only had decorator pillows, so no pillows for sleeping. We located an extra pillow in one of the closets, but it was stained and there was no pillow case. The two sleeping pillows on the king bed were so flat and worn out it didn't feel like there was a pillow. Thankfully we had some family that hadn't left and they brought us extra pillows and towels. The beds were very comfortable though. Like I said we did enjoy our trip, just tried not to dwell on the few negative items.

This is our second visit to the property and had another amazing trip! Host is quick to respond and check in was beyond fast! Can’t beat the view and one of very few updated houses in the area. We hope to return again!

This home has beautiful finishes, the owners really put a lot of thought and $$ into the details. It seems to need a deep cleaning though and the kitchen supplies were not found to be very clean. Great location and very comfortable beds.

Our family stayed in this unit a few weeks ago for a short three night trip away from home. The unit was just as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The doors that open onto the beach on both floors were a wonderful touch. Taking a nap upstairs in the master bedroom, listening to the sound of the waves, and feeling the breeze gently come into the room were truly magical. Everything was clean and well maintained and we didn't have any trouble finding everything we needed. The location is perfect and contacting the host was easy and she they responded quickly to one of our questions. We will love to stay here again next year for our trip to Aptos! The only downside we had was that the children's room on the first floor was not really set up for a toddler. There is not much space for a pack and play and our girl isn't quite ready for a bed without railings. We tried the first night to put it at the foot of the bunkbeds (which do not move) and our girl kept trying to climb out of her pack and play onto the ladder which worried us since we were upstairs and she was downstairs and we couldn't get to her quickly if something happened. We cant put her in our room because she wont sleep when she is in a room with us. So, we put a boogie board over the front of the ladder and secured it with a few belts so she couldn't grab onto the ladder and climb up when we were not in the room and that seemed to do the trick.

Wonderful location, beautiful home and incredible host!

We loved our time at this beautiful property. The location was superb. It just doesn't get better than listening to waves crash all day and night! The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were like "sleeping in your own bed"! I have nothing to say about our stay other than fabulous!!!

What a beautiful location! Beautiful home! We immediately felt at home. We took a last minute family vacation and we were lucky enough to find this place. With two teenagers (18, 15) they're not easy to please. But we all had a great time. It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the personal touch Collen, the property manager added. We will definatly be back!

We just celebrated a 50th birthday at this wonderful place with 6 of us. It has recently been redone and it is beautiful. The kitchen had everything you want and more. The view is outstanding - we slept with sliding door open so we could hear the waves all night long! Colleen the property manager did a great job, was very responsive and gave amazing customer service. Highly recommend this property!

We took a family vacation for a long weekend and were lucky enough to rent this amazing house. The upscale yet comfortable downstairs living space opens up to a great patio equipped with a fire pit, table, BBQ and lounge chairs. The patio is private and just steps away from one of the nicest beaches in Northern California. The upstairs master bedroom also has great doors that open up to a patio and breath taking views of the ocean. Both upstairs bedrooms are a good size and all bathrooms are very nice and modern. In addition to the amazing location and house, the agent that manages the property was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything that we needed for our trip. At the end of the weekend, we did not want to go home.
