Our stay at the Great Escape was fantastic! The house couldn't be in a more ideal location as it's just a short walk to the lift and boasts a wonderful view of the Franconia Ski Club racing trail. The home is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for an incredible ski vacation including an outdoor ski locker, grill, gas fireplace and outdoor firepit. The upstairs loft is a wonderful feature and provided a comfortable space for kids to hang out and play while the adults enjoyed the space of the living room. We can't wait to return!

We did have an issue upon arrival where the dishwasher had been loaded with dirty dishes, but it never completed its cycle as it appears there may have been a fuse shortage prior to our arrival. The oven was also impacted by this shortage. Despite our futile attempt to reset the breaker it required a maintenance call (we're clearly not very electrically savvy as it doesn't seem like it was a major issue, we just didn't want to mess with the box too much since it wasn't our home). Maintenance didn't arrive until 48 hours after our initial call, which was a bit of a disappointment not having a dishwasher or oven for 2 days, but it is likely more of a challenge getting service technicians further North.
