We spent a week with our two adult children in Playa de Coco (April 24) and had one of our best vacations at Timlin. Tim and his staff were attentive to every need and detail from time of booking through our departure. Not only was the villa one of the beast we've ever stayed, but their concierge services allowed us to travel throughout the area without any concerns. Highly recommend and will be back.

One of our BEST experiences renting a home. Tim was great from our initial messages when booking to our final checkout. We felt very welcomed and appreciated all he did for our family. Arriving late he thought to buy us items for breakfast and some local CR coffee. Reyna welcomed us each day with a bright smile and kept everything spotless. The house is amazing! The view from the infinity pool and patio kept us occupied for hours. We enjoyed sunsets each night from the hot tub or hammock. We loved the Coco area. Great restaurants and welcoming people. Beautiful beaches to the north and south. Loved every minute of our vacation! Grateful for your hospitality!!! 5 Stars for PEOPLE, PLACE, PROXIMITY, PICTURESQUE, and PURA VIDA!!!

Staying at Casa Timlin was an absolute dream! Tim was a pleasure to work with and always responded quickly! He greeted us at check-in and gave us a tour of the home showing us everything we needed to know. He also had a map of the area and made suggestions of dinning and activities to visit. Casa Timlin was equipped with everything you can think of for your stay. He even had fresh fruit and drinks available to enjoy! The beach chairs and other supplies for the beach were a bonus and greatly appreciated. The outdoor pool, hot tub and deck was perfectly placed to enjoy the views of the ocean, hills, and wildlife. Inside was beautiful as well. It was equipped with everything you would ever need. The best part was the views from the outside were also seen from the bedrooms and kitchen! Don’t think twice about staying at Casa Timlin! We hope to return someday!

Just WOW! I would like to start by mentioning that I am a 'Premier Host' with a VRBO lake home outside of Houston which I have been renting for 7 years. With that being said, I can appreciate how much effort it takes to have a truly exceptional property where guests feel right at home. We looked through more than 200 VRBO properties on the 'Gold Coast' of Costa Rica, and when we came across Tim's gorgeous home, it really stood out. We booked that same day, and it was the best decision we could have made for our first trip to Costa Rica! The communication and visitors guide provided outlined everything we needed to know about the home and trip. It really made things so incredibly easy with guidance on transportation, groceries, excursions and more! Tim went out of his way to greet us at the property upon arrival and walk us through all of its amazing features. We were simply blown away with the home, OUTSTANDING views, as well as the countless thoughtful amenities. The infinity pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and lounge area are second to none! The views are breathtaking, and we took an exhaustive number of photos! Tim has set a new bar for VRBO stays, and I learned a few things for my own property. It was incredibly clean and well-stocked to ensure his guests have what they need for an amazing stay. We had an incredible experience and would not hesitate to return and recommend to others! Renya was also a dream and really made the experience special! Book it!!

From checkin to check out the experience was like no other I have had with a short term rental. The house itself is beyond expectation with breathtaking views and literally has everything you could need from pool and beach supplies to toiletries and kitchen essentials. Reyna was one of the best parts of our stay and her smile was invigorating. She cooked us some delicious authentic Costa Rican breakfast and lunch at our request. Tim checked in throughout our stay to ensure it was great. The hospitality was beyond expectations and the small touches to get our trip off to an awesome start and wine on the last day were very touching and unexpected. I would highly recommend and would give a 10/10! Thank you for an amazing first experience in Costa Rica and we hope to return soon.

We stayed a week at the house and it was great. The property is just like described, but the view from the pool and deck is just awesome. You get the great view by being above the beach and the road up is pretty steep. You'll see a lot of golf carts around town, but I don't think they'd make it up the hill. You can walk to the beach, but it's really to far to walk into town where most of the shops and restaurants are located. With a car you easily get around town and to some other great close beaches. Driving is simple and fairly well marked and is an easy drive from the airport in Liberia. The only downside is that it gets hot in the afternoon in the pool which is full sun. A little shade would have been nice in the pool, but that's really minor. We would definitely stay here again and even talked about bringing our adult children next time, maybe.

It is difficult to put into words how incredible Casa Timlin is! My husband, 2 grown children and I were simply blown away by this home. The solar hot tub, pool, patio and outdoor kitchen areas are absolutely beautiful and we spent most of our time out there, taking in the breathtaking views of Playa del Coco down below. The house itself is incredibly beautiful and perfectly appointed, from the fully stocked kitchen to the amazing local wood tables and pieces throughout. This was our first visit to Costa Rica, and we rented a vehicle which I highly recommend. Tim’s place was a short drive from area beaches, grocery stores, and lots of attractions, but honestly we wanted to spend lots of time at "home"! Tim was incredibly helpful and responsive, and felt like an old friend by the end of our stay. Book Casa Timlin...you will NOT be disappointed!

Casa Timlin did not disappoint in ANY way. It’s a beautiful property, overlooking Playa Coco- the pictures don’t even show the true magic of this home. The home has everything you will want or need. From the well stocked kitchen with spices, olive oil, and all necessary items to make a delicious meal, to the outdoor grill with propane, beach items including chairs, umbrella, cooler, even the bathrooms have unexpected amenities- qtips, Kleenex, even a magnifying mirror!! The negative edge pool and spa are incredible, and the views!! We made a point to end each day in the pool with a cocktail enjoying the exquisite sunset. Tim was very responsive. He checked in with us via text each day to ensure all was well. Reyna, the house assistant, is so very sweet and attentive. Each day we had clean beach towels, a made bed, and a clean house. Such luxury for us! We were there for my 65th BD celebration, and the experience was one I’ll never forget, due in great part to Casa Timlin! Tim even sent a cake and flowers for the day! Location is ideal. You can walk to coffee shops and restaurants. It’s a bit of a hill, but is doable. Done hesitate! Book this beautiful property today!

This home is absolutely GORGEOUS! The views are incredible, the infinity pool is the perfect place to end your day with a cocktail to watch the sunset, and the home is luxurious with all the comforts you could ask for and more! Tim is immediately responsive and very helpful with information on the local restaurants and things to do. Reyna, the caretaker, is Lovely! She comes daily to tidy up (unlike home, she comes to make your bed and do the dishes!), she does your laundry as requested and she is an amazing cook! We had her cook dinner for us one evening and it was unanimously one of the most delicious meals we had on our vacation. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Costa Rica. This home with it's amenities is a vacation in itself! Thank you Tim and Reyna for elevating our vacation to the next level!

Our family of 5 had a fabulous stay at Casa Timlin over the holidays on our very first trip to Costa Rica! The house was exactly as described and in pristine condition, even better than the pictures! They thought of everything from kitchen accessories to games - we had absolutely everything we needed. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and more than enough outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. We loved the pool and the kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub and hammock, and I appreciated the shades to avoid getting too much afternoon sun. Tim was extremely responsive to all of our questions and provided excellent local recommendations as well. Reyna was also delightful and kept the home in great condition. We loved exploring the area and particularly enjoyed many of the restaurants and shops in Playa del Coco and the beaches in Playa Hermosa. The home was also a reasonable drive from all the activities we did (hiking, tubing, zip lines, ATV, jet skis) and about 35 minutes from the airport. I can't recommend this house highly enough and have already started to plan a return for next winter. You can't go wrong with Tim and Reyna. Pura Vida!
