Cute place and great location. Left full review with Vacasa and homeowner of things that we felt needed attention to help make the stay for others in the future better.

During our stay, we found 3 nails sticking up in the normal foot path (on the steps), 4 cockroaches, several cracks in the walls, and places in the floor that were so unlevel they didn't feel safe. We understand that this is an older house and, for the area, cockroaches aren't unusual, but we definitely canNOT recommend this house for families, especially young families.

We were very grateful to stay at this charming cottage during our Thanksgiving break! Although we were frequently away from the house visiting others, the cottage was cozy and enjoyable to the four of us and our pup! We loved that there was plenty of sleeping space and bathroom space as well as common areas where some of us could read while others watched TV or enjoyed the back yard.

We loved the location and convenience of this home. It is a very roomy home with 3 full bathrooms, screened porch, fence backyard, and plenty of parking. We had a great experience and will book again.

The house is an older home with alot of character. On first view it seemed alright but once we stayed a bit the image unraveled. The first impression was it was a bit musty, which is not unusual for older homes. There were a couple of scented candles in the home which helped. The upstairs was unusable as the ac unit did not function. The stairs are also very steep which made it hard to go up or down. The downstairs bedrooms were clean, but the closets were cluttered with old pillows and bedding. One of the bathrooms had a few dead Waterbugs in the tub. The kitchen cabinets were a bit dirty inside with some leftover old boxes of food. Overall the place was okay but it looks like they rushed to get it ready to rent and it just wasn't quite ready. It needs a good scrub down to take care of the small things like the couch covered in dog hair. Also, the house is not clearly marked with any numbers so it took us a couple of passes to make sure we had the right house. It was also not clear that we had to enter through the side door. Wifi would not work in the back bedrooms. Overall this trip was disappointing and I would not stay here again.
