You will walk in and immediately be drawn to the GORGEOUS mountain top view! Ridgeline Retreat was TRULY a home away from home! EVERYTHING you could want is in this house! The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you could need, and the coffee bar was perfect for our winter week! The downstairs game room was literally HOURS upon HOURS of fun! We spent every evening on the back porch watching the beautiful sunset over the mountains, while enjoying a cocktail! Then we'd head downstairs to play pool, shuffleboard, darts, Galaga & PacMan, giant Jenga, and more! The house is stocked with tons of DVDs and family friendly board games, but every bedroom also has its own TV! My daughter loved hanging out on the bunk bed watching Disney channel. It was her own little oasis. Curl up with one of the softest blankets you will ever find, turn on the fireplace (there are 2) and watch a movie before bed! Our family has not traveled anywhere since Covid, and I can tell you NOT ONCE did I worry the entire week! It was actually a nice mental break to not only change scenery, but feel like Covid didn't exist while we were there! This house has been recently updated so almost everything is new and of excellent quality! The house is VERY clean! The beds, (so comfy! my kids slept like babies!) sheets, towels, blankets, all comfy and soft! Like I said, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything you need, so I didn't have to pack the whole house! There are 2 grocery stores (Publix and Ingles) within 10 minutes from the house if you want to get groceries when you arrive. Waynesville was a cute area to walk with shops and restaurants, there's plenty of hiking trails nearby, Lake Junaluska is a peaceful walk, probably more activity there in warm months, and if going in winter try the snow tubing at Tube World. We are a family of 4, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The location is really an area that can be enjoyed any season! The owners were great with communication and answering any questions! We can't wait to visit RidgeLine Retreat again in the near future! My kids and husband will need to come back to defend their high scores on the wall-cade!

We have stayed in these mountains several times, and this is our favorite cabin! It's roomy but cozy, and you cannot beat the gorgeous mountain views from the 2 decks. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed. Rini (the owner) is very helpful and responsive. We would certainly stay here again.

This home is absolutely beautiful and is tucked away high in the mountains. The unobstructed view from the two decks and floor-to-ceiling windows is breathtaking as you can see several different mountain ranges. The home has everything one could imagine and then some. The full game room including a bar, pool table, darts, tv, fireplace, video game, and shuffleboard table is a big hit with our family. This is our family's second time staying in this home because we just love it here. It's a great place to relax, and we found ourselves sitting on the deck every evening, listening to the birds and owls while watching the sky turn to the most awesome brilliant colors of red, purple and orange as the sun went down. The owners are great communicators and were always available and easily accessible via text. We will definitely be returning.

This is by far the cleanest, fully stocked, thoughtfully planned out vacation rental that we have ever stayed in! Rini has thought of everything! The views are spectacular and Rini was available whenever we needed her. We have been coming to Maggie Valley for years and years and this is the best house we have stayed in yet! We had more than enough space and things to do for our two families of four. The kids loved the bunk room and we spent almost the entire trip on the porches enjoying views, stars, hot tub and fire tables. The house is very thoughtfully appointed. We had anything we needed for cooking at our finger tips. Rini is extremely responsive to questions and clearly wants her guests to not worry about a thing! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time enjoying the mountain retreat. Our teenage girls and friends enjoyed the game room, and we all enjoyed watching it snow from the hot tub! Our days were filled with coffee by the fire pit, pool tournaments, hot tub visits, and relaxing by the fireplace. The home is well appointed and very welcoming! Our host treated us like family and we can't wait to return again!

This was our first trip to North Carolina and our first stay with VRBO and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The property is immaculate, comfortable beds, new appliances, and everything you could need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed the changing views from the deck each evening and especially appreciated the Ms. PacMan machine in the game room (plus pool, shuffleboard, and other games). There is plenty to do nearby - we took a trip to Asheville and spent another day hiking. The owners are very responsive and fantastic hosts. Overall we had a phenomenal stay at Ridgeline Retreat!!

Truly amazing property and incredible hosts!! The host was very welcoming and very responsive with any questions we had. The view from the porch is breathtaking! We enjoyed coffee on the porch while listening to the birds sing in the mornings. Beautiful sunset last night as well. Coffee bar was outstanding! This property has everything you need- clothes and dishwasher detergent, sanitizing wipes, new appliances, games, DVD’s and so much more. I recently had surgery, so I couldn’t get in the hot tub, but my husband and son enjoyed it. Looking forward to trying it out on our next stay. My son LOVED the games. He couldn’t wait to get back each day to enjoy the game room. So much attention to details that make it feel so welcoming. The Magnolia table cookbook is available for you to prepare homemade meals in the spacious kitchen with an incredible view. Wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary! Hope to return soon!

The property was amazing! The upper porch was our most favorite spot...we spent most of our time out there hanging out and enjoying the views; even the rain! Rini and Troy could not have been more helpful with ideas for the kids and just the overall setting. Cannot wait to stay here again!

We rented this home to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and our granddaughter's 4th birthday. This was one of the best stocked kitchens we have encountered and we enjoyed lots of family meals at the dining room table. My husband and I got in a couple of great hikes during the week and we enjoyed lots of free time with our kids in the game room in the evenings. The views from the deck were relaxing with drinks by the fire pit and time spent in the hot tub. There's nothing to complain about and everything to brag about. We would definitely rent this home again!

At every turn, this home surpassed anything we could have imagined. It was a wonderful view from everywhere in the house. They thought of everything in this house, right down to the adorable family coffee (and hot chocolate) mugs and perfect light fixtures. Our 6 year old had a blast with the arcade and I was impressed that they even had extra outlets for chargers in the kids room. Rini was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had and was incredibly warm and kind. This was by far the best cabin home we have been to. It was chilly while we were there and rained one day but none of that had any impact on our ability to enjoy the porch, view, and hot tub. Definitely book this if you're considering it. You won't regret it!

Wow, this home was absolutely amazing!! The owners thought of everything when stocking the house. The views were amazing off the porches and we spent most of our day sitting around the fire pit and looking at God’s beautiful creation. I’m so thankful that we found this gem in Maggie!!! We had such a wonderful time and Ridgeline Retreat was the perfect house for us. 8 adults who took on snow skiing after many years of being off the slopes, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip! We loved our stay at Ridgeline Retreat. The best part was relaxing in the hot tub and playing pool with our 2 boys. It was a very nice visit to Maggie Valley.

The view of the mountains was incredible - from both the upper and lower decks (including the hot tub!) and the large dinner table. Couldn't ask for a more well-equipped house! The kitchen appliances were varied and in great working order. The board games and puzzles were perfect for cabin hangouts. Plus the pool table, Pac-man, shuffle board and the flying turtle scooter - great indoor/outdoor entertainment for the kids (2 girls aged 5 and 8). Communication with the host was fabulous - quick responses to queries. If we were coming to this area again, we would definitely book this location.

Our family stayed at Ridgeline Retreat for Spring Break and were 110% pleased with our choice. It had everything we wanted and MORE! The house is spacious and perfectly clean. The view really is amazing! Even when inclement weather rolled in, we stayed dry and cozy by the firepits on the covered patios. The house was so well equipped that we had plenty to keep us busy on the days when the weather didn't cooperate. The kitchen has top-notch appliances, plenty of cookware and dishes, all the cooking essentials, and tons of room in cabinets for food storage. And we can't say enough about how kind and responsive Rini was. She answered our texts immediately, and even had a handyman come out the same afternoon when we called about re-lighting the pilot light for the gas fireplaces. Ridgeline Retreat is perfect for a large family or two small families. Enough space and super comfy beds for everyone. We will definitely be back!

Ridgeline Retreat was an amazing property and Rini was a great host. If you are looking for a place to unwind and take in the amazing views of the great Smokey mountains this the place! We saw lots of wildlife and our kids loved the endless amount of games to play. There are some great hikes and restaurants nearby down in Maggie Valley. Decent craft brewery right by the river with good beer!

From a totally stocked kitchen, to dreamy beds and linens, to updated media including TVs, magazines, travel guides. You have thought of everything! The crowning job of your home is a tossup...the porches and grill or the game room and wet bar??? We enjoyed them both! The views from the porches are magical! This property did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay, very responsive property owners. We even had a family of bears entertain us in the back yard. This home is elegant and has the most beautiful views of the mountain range. If you are seeking a safe, well stocked home with magical views this is the place for you. It does not disappoint.

The family had a terrific time. Ridgeline has a fantastic view with long range vistas of the mountains. You can see some city lights from below which adds some mystery to an evening with a few clouds. The rooms were well furnished and just felt like home. The gathering areas were also amazing with plenty of seating. We were all very comfortable. The linens and towels were first rate. And the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well supplied with pans, dishes, utensils, and even a selection of common spices. Lots of counter space and a great family table from which you could take in the view. We all especially liked the fire tables on the porches (we only used one). That was our frequent gathering place after the family returned from hiking and/or exploring nearby Waynesville. On our very first might, as we gathered around the fire table on the upper deck, we heard what sounded like a dog sniffing around in the woods near the house. After a number of minutes of this, to our great surprise, emerged a full grown black bear foraging at the edge of the woods. We got flashlights and laminated the bear so we got a good view of this great sight just 20 feet or so below us. The bear could care less about our lights on him. He just kept looking and searching as he made his way along the lower driveway and off into the woods again. Was a great way to start off our wonderful stay at Ridgeline. We would definitely return.
