Easy access to everything we wanted to do. Fabulous sunrise view

The resort was amazing on so many levels. Staying at the Sunset Village was quiet, peaceful, and serene. The sunsets were beautiful and overlooking the Gulf was wonderful. The main resort had anything you wanted and everything was in walking distance.

LOVED our stay at Hawks Cay!! It was our first family trip to the keys, and this resort was perfect. Felt very safe for the kids to have some independence, and our Villa was the ideal size and layout for our family of 6!! Between the pool, lagoon, dolphins (and maybe our kids favorite, jumping off the dock into the bay behind the villa!), we had the best time. Would highly recommend. Only one issue, the WiFi was barely working in our villa, which for 4 teens/tweens was not ideal but they found it worked a little better if sitting on the deck outside and the other activities made it not such a big deal :-)

When we arrived at the villa, we encountered multiple issues: the front door wouldn't close, all the blinds were broken, the screen on the backyard sliding door was damaged, the TV in the guest room didn't work, and the fan in the master bedroom bathroom was out of order. Despite multiple requests to the front desk, none of these issues were addressed during our 8-day stay, nor did they offer to switch our unit. On the second day, the WiFi stopped working, and they claimed there was nothing they could do about it. While we appreciated the view and the location, the lack of hospitality did not justify the cost. We could have spent much less at another location and still enjoyed the Keys. I will not stay with them again.

We have been to Hawks Cay 6 times. The facilities are beautiful. The resort has wonderful foliage and views. The pools are clean and well maintained. The staff are so kind and helpful. Such a great family place.

To much smoking and staff did not even care and in the villas TV not working

Always a great location, nice outdoor facilities and beautiful view. However our unit was very tired. The pull out coach was broken and hard to sleep on. The door to one of the cabinets fell off on our last day but repair came right away.

The property was very nice with a great layout. Staff needs more training and rooms need updating.

My only complaint is that it seemed that everytime I had to deal with staff (bar tenders, food, marina) it was like they were in a bad mood. It felt like if they were annoyed if they had to deal with you. Other than that, the property was good.

Villa was very cramped with super tiny bathrooms, staircase was in need of repair-extremely creaky and loud, kitchen light didn’t work. Main pool had so many people in it that water was cloudy & felt like hot tub-super gross. While lagoon was beautiful, the free kayaks/paddle board sign up system left a lot to be desired on a busy holiday weekend-many kids never got a chance. The customer service & ability to do one’s job at a basic level was non-existent at the cafe-stood there for several minutes with 4 employees right in front of us & never once got a hello, will be with you in a moment while they finished chatting…Nobody wanted to refill ice cream machines, coffee machine wasn’t working properly…just felt like a lot of people not wanting to do job well and letting things get low & use excuses-once ice cream machine gets low, go add more mix (which is apparently what no one wanted to do & they continued to not fill it). Overall, I’m really glad we stayed here…for years I have had staying here on my list… Now I know that I really wasn’t missing much. Also, super surprised that the guard gate did not have anyone in it, especially over a busy weekend like memorial day… Anyone could drive in and use amenities Met one guy in the pool who had done just that-so security is also a question.

This trip was AMAZING ! we stayed in the 5 bedroom villa and wow , this house is beautiful. Balconies for every room , open layout . Views were gorgeous! We want to thank Jose Peru at check in for simply being awesome , He was so sweet and welcoming . Would definitely stay here again. It was incredible .

Great property . Lots to do. Villas oriented towards road not beach. No beach.

Lovely resort but needs some maintenance. We saw cockroaches and the furniture needs updating.

Great stay! Family friendly and beautiful.

We booked a villa at Hawk cay for Christmas. We paid premium price. When we arrived to our villa, we found out there are cockroaches in the cabinet, marks of food on the plates, and no wi fi. The phone in the room was not working, and the person who came to check just said the there will be no wi fi because the TV is too old. It was too late to leave that night, but we left first thing in the morning. I wiould highly recommend to stay away.
