House was clean inside but smells musty. There was a brief disclaimer that the property was having a pool installed and there may be some noise. In fact, the entire front Yard is COMPLETELY ripped up. There are construction materials(PVP pipes, 2 X4's) blocking the path to get to the front door. The front porch is stacked with furniture, garbage, paint thinner, boxes of tile and was barely passable let alone usable. Shovel and pipes laying around. No path to the beach! Complete safety hazard. I requested a full refund from Vacasa EXCLUDING host and cleaning fees and was denied. It is so bad it should be reported to Code Enforment and shut down until finished. I have photos if requested.

The good - location was ideal, right on the beach. Walking at sunrise was special and after dinner. The beach was not crowded which was nice. There were sufficient towels in the bathrooms, lots of soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. Kitchen was well stocked although we found dirty glasses in the cupboards. Probably a previous guest who put them there, not the cleaning crew. Fans were in every room. The bad - We had difficulty opening the front door due to the door swelling from moisture. Finally yanked it open with two hands. House was clean inside but the couch rattan arms were frayed and broken. We put hand towels over that to prevent injury. Could not see out the windows to see the beach. Found some exterior windex that attached to a hose and washed all the windows facing the ocean. The owner arrived while in the process and apologized as he said the cleaning crew should have cleaned outside too. We washed all the outside furniture too as everything was very dirty. We didn’t touch the large bean bag. It’s impossible to clean those. I don’t recommend staying in the bunk room if you want to sleep. The AC unit is in the hallway with adjoining wall. Woke us up every time it turned on. Made friends with the little 3” lizard that seemed to live in the bunk room. Had trouble getting the TV to turn on. After turning the cable box off and on again, we got the TV to start but no cable. The soundbox had no batteries in the remote so we turned it off. Location is great. That’s it.

Not worth the money. Only good thing is location!. House is very shabby, like a motel. Smells, Old furniture, ill equipped kitchen, dusty basement. Wish someone from Vacasa stay at this place and understand how much it is worth for before listing it. Worst ever experience with Vacasa.

Loved how close the house was to the beach and all the extra amenities.

Great location on the beach. There is some erosion around the adjoining property and we had beachgoers cut through the yard once but wouldn’t deter us from coming back! Thank you for sharing your home!
