We enjoyed our short visit to Beaufort over the 4th of July holiday. Baby Charles property was lovely, comfortable and quiet, nicely decorated and recently renovated. Communication with host was great, with prompt responses to our questions. Check-in was very convenient with security code on lock. Hope to visit again one day soon!

Exactly what we wanted. Great location to explore historic Beaufort. Warm and cozy with all the amenities you could want. Clean bathroom, comfy bed, nice living room and well appointed kitchen. Cute little backyard though it was a tad too cool to enjoy this visit. Added plus was the pass to visit Hunting Island State Park for a day at the beach. Easy walk to Bay Street to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We will be back.

This is the perfect cottage for a couple's romantic getaway. After a long, hard drive, we arrived to find the lights on to welcome us and soft music playing. The decor is upscale and very southern, and both the beds and furniture were very comfortable. The location is perfect and we felt very safe. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This house exceeded our expectations. The lights were turned on inside, and music welcomed us. There be is a fenced yard for dogs. There are thoughtful, touches like a magnified, make up mirror and two kinds of wash cloths, one for face, one for below the face. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are incredibly comfortable. There is a four outlet charger for your devices. The kitchen is well stocked. And it has cute pottery. There is good TV and cable options. The air conditioning is good. There is an excellent shower with two heads. It is easy to step in and out of.
We were definitely stay here again. The manager also is a Dogsitter in case you need that.

The cottage was great and probably one of the cleanest and comfortable lodging we have booked through VRBO. The location was great for walking down to the riverwalk. We experienced some nice restaurants and enjoyed visiting Hunting Island. We hope to return in the future. Melissa is a super host; thank you for everything.

We had a great time in Beaufort. The VRBO was very clean and cozier than I expected! The beds are comfy and the kitchen has all you could need. Highly suggest the Lowcountry Produce Market for brunch and Old Bull Tavern for dinner. Great place to stay and within walking distance to the riverfront.

From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, everything was perfect. The house was very clean, decorated nicely, comfy beds, great location to downtown and a well equipped kitchen. But who needs a kitchen when you are so close to so many great restaurants. All in all, a perfect place for the two of us!

We were in town for a Marine retirement and wanted something that was walking distance to Beaufort. This was perfect! The owner thoughtfully put together a notebook with dining and activity suggestions. There was also a pass included for Hunting Island, which is my favorite beach for relaxing and picture taking. The house was neat and clean. So many extra details made it an excellent stay. There was plenty of paper and cleaning products and lots of spices to use. The dishes, towels and linens were very nice. Communication with the property manager was great, rapid responses and helpful information. This is definitely one I will keep on my list!

Baby Charles is well appointed, beautifully decorated and stocked with over and beyond everything you can imagine. It simply could not have been any cleaner and inviting than it was. The location is perfect for walking to destinations to dine, relax and walk on the waterfront.

My husband and I enjoyed our week at Baby Charles. Although we are now TN residents we were both born and raised in SC and it’s a special treat when we vacation along the SC coast. This cute historic bungalow was a great location for exploring Beaufort and the surrounding sea islands. The property was super clean and well equipped. We did a lot of cooking while we were there. And the beds were so comfortable. The fenced yard was especially convenient for taking our Maltipoo out to do her business. A pooper scooper and special garbage can were even provided. From the music awaiting us to the top notch toilet tissue Melissa has thought of everything.

We spent two nights at Baby Charles and found it to be as advertised. While Erica was away during our stay, she was very easy to communicate with. The house was very clean and comfortable. Erica has thought of everything you might need to have an enjoyable stay. The bed was so comfortable I slept past my usual rising tiime. The weather was not as cooperative as we would have liked but we did get in some sightseeing thanks to the close proximity of Baby Charles to downtown Beaufort. We tried some of Erica's dining suggestions and found them to be quite good. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Baby Charles to anyone planning to visit Beaufort.

We just finished our second stay at Baby Charles and are happy to report that it remains a great spot to stay in Beaufort. Incredibly clean and inviting. We love the location - just a few short blocks to downtown - an easy walk. So many wonderful restaurants - "Old Bull Tavern" is our favorite. Nice yard for our elderly dog. You can't go wrong here. Read the other positive reviews and book your stay - we will be back next year.
