It was old but clean enough. No iron, hair dryer or coffee maker

I really hate to give them a not so good review. But here goes…the staff was very nice. The room we were in had very bad water damage and smelled. The air conditioner was on but not cold. However there were two floor fans that we used. The kitchen area was nice and clean and the balcony was nice with an ocean view. I think all the rooms had an ocean view. So sorry to give them a bad review but I had too. Maybe other rooms weren’t bad but I don’t know. Internet connection wasn’t great either. Pool was nice

Location is ideal. It’s across the street from the beach. The pool is a bonus. Restaurants are within walking distance. Boardwalk is within walking distance too.

We looked at 3 rooms, all were pretty nasty. We paid for a kitchen but stayed in a room without a kitchen. The lock was sticking so bad we had a hard time opening it and the room smelled really bad. Another rooms air conditioning was broken and only made very loud noise. The room we stayed in was the least smelly but the air conditioner dudnt work. The ladies at the desk were very nice but the owner just gave us dirty looks. I've been staying in old motel rooms for 40 years and this was by far the worst! I am not that picky. Pieces of plaster were falling from the ceiling, walls were skakey and the carpet was absolutely gross. We were afraid to be the onky ones eating in their restaurant.

The room was not what i expected. You walked into a bedroom with q queen size bed,then the kitchenette ares had the other bed. I was supposed to get 2 beds in the bedroom. I was supposed to have a full size fridge but only had a mini fridge with no freezer. Also was suppose to have a full size couch in the sitting area,only had a loveseat. We were accosted with ants in the kitchen area. Bathroom was very small. Toilet and shower in the smallest area ever if you are a large person you wont fit there. The sink was outside the bath area. Off of the kitchenette was a sliding glass door to a private balcony. I give the view a 10. The pool is lsrge but the seagls like to swim in it. The inside of the door was splintered and broken in the door jam the door would not close completely, had to force the chain lock to keep it closed. Our sliding glass door was filthy so we bought glass cleaner AND CLEANED IT OURSELVES.the maids came everyay did a great job i give them a 9. The owner sat in the lobby mostly. Restaurant is omly open on weekends. Coffee maker was rusted out. Some of the electrical outlets didnt work,thankfully we brought extension cords and power strips with us. We stayed in that room but it wasn't a great experience. Close to the beach though i give that a 10. In dire need of renovations. I do not recommend. We paid premium dollars. Stay away if you can. The air conditioning worked well,but sll the grates wrre rusty also all the walls had chopping paint.

Lobby smelled horrible and everyone in my party had a blueish sticky residue on our skin and bathing suits from the pool area.

The place is in a great location right off the beach every room has an ocean view which is gorgeous the problem was the rugs were from the 1960s the air conditioner barely worked the room was hot as hell we had luckily there was a breeze coming off the ocean to keep our door open the bathroom was a disgrace the caulking around the tub was moldy

I recently stayed at this place which is conveniently located by the beach. The easy access to the beach was a definite highlight, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere perfect for a peaceful getaway. However, the property could use some updating, as some areas and amenities felt a bit dated. Overall, if you’re looking for a serene spot by the sea and don’t mind a few older features, this hotel could be a good choice.

This review is hard to write because I’m torn. There’s amazing parts of this hotel and crappy parts. To start off, the lobby and staff are amazing and helpful. The restaurant has good food and the bar has reasonable prices. The pool is clean and there is enough lounge chairs for everyone. All rooms are ocean view and that’s a beautiful view. The beach is literally out your front door and across the street and a short walk to the water. Now the part that’s not so great and a big part of your stay. The rooms. They are EXTREMELY outdated and not practical for a large family/a lot of travelers. We stayed in a “two bedroom” and it’s more of a one bed room and then a bed in the kitchen with tables and chairs if you’re lucky to get a room with a kitchenette, If not you have a microwave and a mini fridge. The bathrooms are small with a toilet and tub and then you come outside to wash your hands at the sink. The AC doesn’t work. Like at all. Or if it does it’s briefly and then you’re hot. No matter what room they move you too. This hotel is perfect for sleeping and spending all day at the beach/pool/bars. But if you want a room to just hang out in and watch tv, you’ll be miserable. I wanted to love this place cause everyone is sweet and friendly, but not having AC ruins that. Refunds are not a thing but they try to accommodate you to the best of their ability but some times refunds are necessary. I would stay here again if the AC gets fixed and kids aren’t involved.

Great find on the Beach! I thought it was a little pricey, but the amenities, friendly staff, and free parking made it a good value. The elevators are a little slow, but that is a minor point. Very satisfied.

Everything was good except there was a leak in the bathroom sink

Cleaning ladies tried their best but the facility is very old and outdated. Bathroom is super small. A/C does not work and the vent is dirty and dusty and makes a lot of noise. Hotel smelled due to sewage back up. Windows are cracked and can’t be opened to let in breeze. Carpet is dirty and old. Tv did not work- fixed on 5th night. (6 days there) The plus side: they keep their pool area super clean! (Even though the seagulls swim in it). The view from the ocean front rooms is priceless - it’s an amazing view! The staff (Maya) is super sweet and tried her best. Cleaning ladies come in every day. Bedding and towels are clean. Price is lower due to condition of hotel so that’s a plus.

The air conditioning did not work in our first room. We were moved to another room the next morning and the air conditioning didn’t work in that room either. We had to use box fans to make it a little better.

The time we spent around the motel was a great one. However the place is in need of a renovation. Bathrooms are small. Walls stained. Cigarette on the balcony.. headboards broken.. it's honestly surprising that people revisit this place. For sure our family will nvr go back..

The good - The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be accomodating. The pool area and lobby are clean and look updated. As we walked into our room we entered a bedroom that had one lamp on a bedstand, a bureau and tv and queen bed. Then a hallway with hangers, with a sink area and a very small bathroom with toilet & tub/shower. Then another large bedroom that had a queen bed, kitchenette, tv, bureau, small table & chairs and a sofa. The suite was very roomy and the bed was comfortable. The price was very reasonable for oceanfront front location. The bad - the door had obviously been broken into in the past. I would suggest updating the chain lock to something more secure. The sliding screen facing the ocean needed repair and the cement patio needed powerwashing. The rug was stained underneath the large, rattling air conditioner in the celing and the room smelled as if it'd been flooded in the past, although it was on the 5th floor.

All the rooms at the hotel are oceanfront. Mere steps from having your feet in the sand. While it's a bit older, the view makes up for it. About a 30 minute walk to the boardwalk. We did get a room with the smaller balcony, which had 2 chairs but it's a tight squeeze. We want to come back next year. Only real complaint is seagulls swimming and pooping in the pool.

Ac barely worked. Room was extremely outdated. TV’s didn’t show any content. Pool water was cloudy. Luggage carts were all broken. Rooms only had one tiny lamp making them very dark. We left 2 night early and went to another hotel.

This is an older property, but they keep it very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The price for staying directly on the beach was wonderful. We even stayed an extra night because we didnt want to leave yet!

Great area and very convenient. Rooms are a lil oudated need better ac unit but overall pretty good.

Terrible cleaning and very dirty facilities

Great location. Ocean views from balcony. Old building. Limited number of outlets. AC limited. Plumbing fixtures not optimum. Musty smelling on humid days. Not the best stay I've ever had. Not the worst, either. Acceptable but not outstanding.

The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The downfall was the elevator to the 6th floor (not the main elevator btw) did not work, therefore it made it challenging to get the luggage to the room. The room was clean and overall a nice place to stay. We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a complete bonus for us. :)

Well for starters they never took our deposit money for weeks nor sent us a confirmation about our stay. Then when we get to the property, our air conditioner was broken but staff said we were unable to switch rooms, that we should sleep with the balcony door open. Also, The room was absolutely filthy. I will not return.

there was nothing I liked about this property. The place is terrible. The air conditioning was not working or as I quote it works just doesn’t get cold. The room was wrong and did not accommodate what we needed so I had to leave with my husband couldn’t find another place because everything was booked out due to this event, I ended up missing more than half of this event that I paid a lot of money for trying to scramble to find some place to stay. It was a real nightmare, and the owner was rude and nasty checking with neighborhood hotels in the area , they all said that this man is a disgrace the way he runs his business and this whole situation is a normal occurrence with him. disappointed in Expedia for recommending this place. You really should not it’s nothing like it appears to be.
