It’s interesting because there isn’t a check in desk and everything is run through email and text. The unit was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I received regular communication from the property manager to via text to see if we needed anything. The only downside would have been the bathroom door and privacy. Overall experience was excellent

The room itself was very welcoming. Coming from a long road trip from California to Oregon this motel felt just like home maybe even better ! The staff was wonderful and understanding. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Oregon.

What a cute little hotel! Pictures are one of the reasons I picked this hotel and the thought of staying somewhere that wasn’t a big chain really appealed to me. It didn’t disappoint.

Nice to see an old motel updated rather than torn down. The remote was impossible to figure out even after referring to the onscreen user guide. Very, very frustrating. Why have an iron in the room if there is no ironing board? Yes, I iron my shirt before going out on an appointment. I like creamer in my morning coffee, even if it is powdered. Was the omission of that detail an oversight or your standard policy? It's the missing details which kept me from giving you a score of 'excellent'

Easy and clean !

The room was nice and clean loved the overall theme and decor. The area is very noisy and walls seem to be on the thinner side. They did provide us with ear plugs which was nice. I would not mind staying here again if the price was lowered a bit.

I loved the open space in the rooms. The white noise fan was so soothing and helped us sleep better being in a different environment. The staff was not on site, but they were readily available and in communication. The check in process was easy and smooth and with the code on the door, we didn't have to worry about any keys. Loved this this place! We will definitely return there anytime we travel to Eugene!

The Local is an excellent motel. The facility is completely renovated, clean, and has nice amenities. There is no staff onsite. The motel is centrally located but I wouldn’t walk around in the neighborhood after dark.
