Will not recommend this hotel, very low standard.

1.My room located on 1st floor has 8 steps, I am 66 old, no warning or offer assistance, expect me to carry my full size luggage myself for those steps.
2. I checked in late & was tire, did not check the room.when enter. Next morning start coughing and realized funny smell, found out there are mold at the corner.. see photos
Room change after I show them the photos..
3. next to entrance is the smoking area, you may have to go through those smoke screen if lucky like me.
I have requested the mgr to refund me the the 1st night stay for the mold issue, on account that room is not suppose to be offer to customers.
So far no response.
Crews need to re train
1. Give warning and offer assistance if room locate on floor that have steps.
They said I look young that why thye dont offer any help.
I saw other people haing hard time carrying the luggages through those steps.
2. the front reception that help me to move the luggage to the new room when I told him my conern about the Mold and steps, he keep telling me he is at minimum wages and I should report to the mgr about the issues,
look like he does not care what customers think.

We put the DND sign and told the lady that we do not need any room servicing and they entered the room. Air conditioning system not working. Hair dryer not working asked twice to replace . Took half an hour to bring replacement.

Room smelled very unpleasant. It got worse as evening wore on. Staff very pleasant, but something in room needs attention.

Awful place to stay, noisy guests with little soundproofing in the adjoining rooms. Far too hot even with air con on full, narrow room with no space to manoeuvre and uncomfortable pillows. Huge queues for breakfast (which wasn’t the best anyway) and seated the other side away from the restaurant so having to navigate the huge queue of people when returning to your table with food and drinks. Advised the staff of our experience and wasn’t even offered an apology or any resolve. Terrible customer service, will never return or consider a Crowne Plaza again!

Excellent location if tou are ok taking the bus in London. Conveninet and easy. Breakfast was ok but need to get in early as can be a bit of a wait

Convenient location close to an excellent neighborhood. The hotel is well run, clean and very modern. The rooms were surprisingly large and the double room easily accommodated two adults and a teen.

The hotel lobby, breakfast area and staff were amazing but the room quality for an IHG crowne plaza was poor. I feel like I have experienced higher quality at premier inn than I have in this room. The bed barely had space to get around. Have to say im dissapointed by my stay here due to the room quality and probably wont stay here again.

Freezing cold room the entire time. Carpet full of stains. Cramped bathtub/shower made it very difficult to move around - no idea how an elderly person would be able to use it. Folding wardrobe door difficult to move. Overly complex breakfast ticket system.

All tv stations either were full of static or wouldn't connect. Perhaps some nibblies and drinks in the bar fridge would be appreciated. Mattress was extremely comfortable but airco had a distinctive hum which needs to be adjusted

We paid £334 midweek for what was an average room. The staff on the checkin neither of us could understand unfortunately. The room was basic. No plug socket near a mirror for hair equipment etc. no tea and coffee making facilities, not enough hot water for a hot bath and decoratively dowdy. Generally didn’t represent good value for money. We have stayed in a premier inn room nearby which was better proximity to the station half the price and twice the quality.

Stay was good. The air conditioning was horrible even though we had it set to the lowest temperature, we were sweating all night trying to sleep. Location was good and walkable distance to any station you could need! Breakfast was good!

My daughter and I booked a room with a queen size bed and sofa bed. The room was quite small and once the sofa bed was folded out there was very little room to move and you couldnt open the fridge. Also lack of hanging space in the wardrobe was an issue. Probably ok for someone staying for a few days but not for 2 adults staying for a week. We lived out of our suitcases due to very little hanging/drawer space. Breakfast was ok with a good choice but was the same choices every morning. A bit of variety would have been nice. Unfortunately we were allocated a room to the rear of the hotel so were woken at 6 am most mornings with delivery vans reversing and being loaded/unloaded or recycling bottle bins being emptied. There is also building works being carried out next door which would wake us again (although I appreciate that is out of the hotel's control).
We have stayed in a few Crowne Plaza hotels and we paid a lot for this hotel but unfortunately this one did disappoint and we wouldn't stay again.
