It was my first time staying at Marin suites, and I overall enjoyed my stay for the price. The young man at the Front Desk was very helpful and fulfilled my request for a top corner room. Unfortunately, my room was not that clean, the sheets were stained, and the bathroom curtain was yellowish in color when it’s supposed to be white. The bathtub was also stained and there were a few long, dark brown hairs stuck to the tub and curtain (my hair is blonde). I got kind of grossed out by all that. Room is outdated, bed and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the plastic free water bottles. Cheap coffee & powder creamer in room. Bathroom amenities were decent. Loud motor when turning bathroom light on (room 535) and one window didn’t close properly so lots of street noise from cars although hotel seems quiet. Thank you

The room was very spacious & the beds were comfortable. It felt older but clean. We were frustrated by the lack of a Jacuzzi. It was ribboned off & front desk kept saying it would be fixed that day, and it never was. The pool was large for a hotel and clean.

The kids LOVED the hotel, it was comfortable and quiet. The pool was clean and nice to swim in. Plenty of towels and the rooms were spacious and clean. Little outdated for the carpet and the fridge was leaking water inside but overall really nice. Definitely coming back. Only problem is only one parking pass per room.

Horrible front room staff!

This place was really vibey. The pool area was beautiful. The garden area was very well kept. They had corn hole, fireplaces and barbecue pit as well as connect four it was really nice area. Between the garden and pool was another lounge area that was open with a built-in wall fireplace. It’s a very nice area to be able to relax or hang out. Have a few drinks with your family or friends. The only problem I had was wrongfully charged $75 for the soap in our room after checkout. The cleaning staff said that they were missing from our room. It clearly states that the soap conditioner and lotion are $25 a bottle. We were not taking any of those. They were used Hotel soaps, not even full, no way I would’ve paid $25 A bottle half empty used hotel soap. That doesn't make sense. It was really disheartening to me because I called to inquire about the $75 charge the gentleman at the front desk. Let me know the cleaning staff said that we took three bottles and that there’s nothing he could do for me. I enjoyed my stay there with my family and I will be going back. I just know now that before I leave I need to confirm with the front desk that the soap are in there because it’s the housekeepers word against yours. Be careful!!!

The person at reception was a trainee with no management around. She had not been shown how to work the computer properly and took over half an hour to figure out how to change our room. Mgmt was quick to say 'sorry' but did nothing to make it right. If you don't know how to run a hotel, don't.

The staff is super helpful. The inner courtyard gardens and pool are welcoming, serene and quiet.

Very pleasant accommodation.

We received an upgrade to a suite for only one night. It was really nice from the receptionist and it was really good, after 2 nights on a tent. The mattresses were a bit soft. However the hotel was really nice.

It’s good location! Convenient to shopping mall and highway. And it’s big rooms. And they have kitchen stuff too when we stayed the 2 bedroom suit! Staff is very nice and helpful. The room is a little dated. Old carpet. Otherwise. It’s really nice stay.

This hotel is listed as a three-star property, but this is entirely inaccurate. It barely deserves two stars. It is extremely shabby and outdated. Examples: -To access the elevator, you have to hold open a door while handling your luggage. -The rug in the guest room is thin, worn, ugly, and feels disgusting on bare feet. -The shower did not work properly, so that most of the water went in the tub. This is something that should be checked and addressed during cleaning, prior to assigning the room to a guest. - Sound travelled from other rooms. - The outdoor corridors are dirty and need new paint. -The lobby is tiny and inaccessible - one must hold the door open if bringing in luggage, then descend s few steep stairs. -The check-in staff was distinctly unfriendly and very slow and fumbling. Expedia should change its rating of this hotel. It is entirely misleading. The hotel has 3-star room rates but offers less than a 2-star stay. Don't book a room here if you are looking for a comfortable 3-star hotel.

We stayed here because we were spending the day in San Francisco and were taking the ferry in for the day. The hotel was close to shopping and the ferry terminal. Pool was great and parking was free

Staff was rude and when I extended my room they forced me to move into a room with a worse room and a sink that is clogged . Don’t extend stay here expecting to get same room!
