Check in was friendly but my room was downgraded upon arrival. The room was musty and moldy and dated. A hole in the wall was filled with bunched up kleenex. The heating unit was so loud it woke me up every time it restarted itself (all night long). There were only 2 decaf coffees available to choose from. The TV didnt work. There was no phone in the room. There was no fan on the bathroom. Breakfast was served from 7-9 am which is a short window of time in my opinion. The good: the room was clean with a great location.

My stay was nice, I enjoyed the Breakfast, the potatoes are my Favorite.

I stay here often. The location is convenient, and the hotel is situated on a lake with very pleasant views. The restaurant is terrific and reasonable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The building is a bit dated, but the rooms are clean and reasonable. I'll be back.

The staff was very friendly, the room was fairly clean the bathroom had mold on the ceiling however. Also I may have missed in the description but the nightclub/bar was directly below our room the music was very loud till 11pm. Which for us was ok we are late night people but others may not like that.

Overall stay was good. Property is beautiful. Took a morning walk along the lake both mornings after breakfast. Just a couple minor issues w/ the room. The drain in the bathtub didn't drain very well at all. There ended up being a giant stain on the side of the mattress. Looked like an old blood stain. I didn't notice until the morning we left. Ugh..

Amazing stay. Very friendly staff along with a great Attached restaurant and bar. Very beautiful place with an old style dirty dancing type atmosphere. Loved it

Its near salem,easy access to the highway. The view of the lake are amazing. The hotel was not new but we are glad of our trip. The breakfast was good and the coffee too.

I was looking for an inexpensive basic room and my room was clean, the bed comfortable and had no issues with the bath or shower. They had also a no frills breakfast where I grabbed coffee and toast. Good for an overnight stay and close to Rte 128.

My stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy with the heater on since it’s winter. I recommend Lakeside if you’re on a getaway trip with your partner or for leisure purpose.

Hotel was great. Bar was awesome we were there on a Sunday night and they had karaoke. The people that were there were great, so nice. The bar tender David was great and so good with the regulars.

The room had cobwebs in the bedroom and bathroom and it looked like the bathroom floor wasn’t swept probably a pile of dirt was in the corner. They really need to clean the tub out!

My second stay here was a great as my first. The folks are nice, the restaurant is terrific, and the bed is comfortable. I'll be back when I'm in this area.

On my first night there, the neighbors were loud, so I put my headphones on to get some sleep. Near midnight, the front desk rang my room’s phone, waking me up, to ask me if the noise of my neighbors was bothering me. During checkout, the employees were having a conversation with each other and barely acknowledged me - just asked my room number and said I was all set. Definitely got what I paid for since the cost was low. One perk - the hotel bar had live music a couple nights during my stay, and that was nice.
