Someone used queen sheets on a king bed it seems. Wouldn't stay on mattress.

The hotel just needs a facelift. The ice machines and soda machines need to be fixed. The elevators are showing their age as well. The staff is always very cordial and do a great job, which is why I overlook the small things and stay here whenever in Morehead City!

I like staying here. It's convenient, clean, has a friendly staff and accepts pets. Plus, they have a good breakfast which is included.

Check-in process was efficient and timely. But room needs repairs and upgrades. Bathtub seal leaked into ceiling of fitness room located on floor below. Toilet flushed inconsistently sometimes running on after being flushed and curtains covering window were damaged with rips. Maintenance rep. came to room to review bathtub and toilet bowl issues. Bed, refrigerator and microwave worked fine and general cleaniness of room was okay from cleaning staff.

We’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn a few times. The service was decent but the rooms need help! Shower was old and moldy. Sheer curtains were ripped and stained in both of our rooms. Beds were old and noisy. Had a mattress pad for a sheet. Disappointing for a Hampton for sure.

Hotel was neat, clean and check in was easy. Friendly staff. Felt bad for the girl at the desk in the morning who had to listen to a customer complaint for 10 minutes. She handled it well. Breakfast was good, I slept well, etc. I would stay here again.

Visiting the area with a friend and my dog. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, with a view of Bogue Sound. The air conditioner worked beautifully. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The lovely man on breakfast prep was so joyful. The area for dog walking was clean with baggie stations. I have to say this is now going to be our favorite place for visits to Atlantic Beach. Staff was best I have encountered in quite a long time.

Room was musty and not exceptionally clean. Very aged. Wallpaper peeling in the bathroom, some stains on the carpet. Poor lighting in the bathroom.

Hotel was very dated and not particularly clean. Breakfast was so so at best. The poorest Hampton I've ever stayed at.
My bill w/tax was $223. Should've stayed in an $80 hotel.

Quite disappointed at the standard of this property, clearly needs some investment. Torn neck curtains in the bedroom, and just generally tired. Checked into a room before it had finished being cleaned, staff quite nonchalant. Not what I was expecting from a Hilton property

Overall, we like staying here and have done so many times. Unfortunately, housekeeping was awful. We arrived there on Monday and checked out on Friday. No housekeeping visits whatsoever. I had to track down someone from housekeeping in the hall to get toilet paper, tissues, and some clean wash clothes. No other clean towels were ever provided. Beds were not made all week! 🙁
