We had a wonderful experience overall! The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly hospitable, helpful, and kind, which made our stay even more enjoyable. However, we did encounter a staff member—a woman working the second morning—who had a noticeably poor attitude, which was a bit disappointing.
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and nicely updated. Although the hotel is labeled as non-smoking, we noticed guests above and below us smoking outside on their balconies frequently, which created an unpleasant smell when we cracked the window or sliding door.
A highlight of our stay was the opportunity to enjoy a fire on the beach. Be sure to ask for a s’mores kit from the front desk—it includes everything you need for four people and is a great way to make your visit extra special!

Balcony door wouldn't lock, Absurdly crowded and poorly designed toilet/shower area, misaligned and badly affixed bathroom base molding, and a fireplace that was only a stationary picture above a strip light in the bottom of the grate--no heat, no ambiance, no beauty. Towels were ample and bed was marvelous.

The bathroom in our room had no fan so when we showered every surface in the bathroom got wet from steam. The frame around the bathroom mirror had been dusted - but not well. I took a tissue and finished the job. The bed was so high it was hard to get into for those of us who are not tall, and it was very hard and uncomfortable. Didn’t sleep well either of our two night stay.

The cafe was closed..open only Wednesday-Sunday which meant no dinner for me on Tuesday. No notice of that on web site. Lobby coffee was not available evenings, room 202A was much smaller than indicated. Functional but too small.

We have stayed here many times due to the nice facilities, ocean view rooms and the close proximity to downtown Seaside. My only complaint would be the random loud outside boardwalk people that stroll up and down the boardwalk at all hours of the night. Otherwise a very nice place to stay.

Excellent last minute booking where they accommodated myself and my dog in an oceanfront room. Very easy access and dog friendly. Will surely stay there again.

While the location of this hotel is great, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The price was ridiculously high for what you get. The rooms were outdated, the service was lacking, and overall it felt like a poor value for the money. Definitely not worth the price, even with the convenient location.

we didn’t mind booking a room that didn’t face the water to save on cost. However, I did not like the fact that the room window looked out to the hallway. Because of that I would not stay in that type of room again

Booked the economy room because it was all that was left and boy is it tiny! If you are claustrophobic I do not recommend it. The only window that opened was the one right next to the stairwell so it not like you could open any windows to get a view or fresh air. At $270 after taxes I was a bit disappointed. However the employees were very kind and professional.
