The Detmolder Hof is one of the best addresses when it comes to accommodation in Detmold. They have been around since… I don’t know when, but my grandfather used to take us there for dinner when we were visiting and even my parents celebrated their wedding there in 1972.
The hotel retained it’s old school charm and luxuriousness, but still feels up to date. The staff is wonderful as well: welcoming and accommodating. (I needed an ironing board and iron, which was promptly provided and delivered to my hotel room).
I would always choose this hotel again!

The hotel was a bit dated but clean, the staff were helpful. We understand the hotel has just been taken over by a young couple so would expect changes to the decor in the near future. Reception was not always manned.

Second time I stayed here. I travel a lot for my work and try to escape the business hotels every now and then. Wifi was excellent. And the room was beautiful, classic, very spacious and luxurious. The bathroom exudes luxury, with a beautiful bath, seperate shower and toilet, you feel like princes Sissi for 1 night. Delicious dinner and breakfast was also excellent.

Historic hotel with great service. Located in the heart of the best area of Detmold. Extremely large and roomy.

Detmolder Hof is a very quaint and spacious facility. . It would have been a perfect experience if there were air conditioning. Weather was a little warm and sleeping was a little uncomfortable.

The hotel was nice but the staffs were not polite to me. I don't know why and my room wasn't clean it up during the staying.

Located in the center of town.... Wonderful quality touches and charm and beautiful dining area for included breakfast. Highly recommend.
