I had booked a room with Harbor House and when that day came i found myself borderline desperate for an early check-in. They were very accommodating and for a minimal fee allowed me to check-in much earlier than I’d expected.

Lady at check in was rude. Got back late second night and key card didn’t work. Took a while to get ahold of someone to let me in. Shower curtain smelled like urine. Worst shower pressure I’ve ever experienced. Lots of noise from upstairs late at night and early morning. Late night noise from bar a few doors down. I won’t be back.

Condition is a little run down, but comfortable, convenient, and inexpensive, so good value.

We had an awesome time, even though it was brief and the hotel was comfortable and clean and very relaxing. Would highly recommend I would definitely stay there again. A big “thank you” to the staff who were awesome.

They didn’t have a shower chair so we had to buy one, which we left for future guests that might need it. The water pressure in the shower was so low that it took forever to take a shower! The beds we’re comfortable, but the rollaway bed was not. It was a good thing that I had brought a bed topper because it made the rollaway good! In general, the hotel was clean and in good condition. All of our requests were taken care of, except the shower chair. We booked the room sight unseen based on the room rate which was important to us. We would definitely come back, but hope that shower is fixed!!

Our room was located on the 2nd floor and when we got to the room, there was CARPET in the room that was covered in pee stains! It was awful. It smelled like establishment attempted to clean the stains and there was a musty smell left in the room. Seeing the numberous large urine stains was disconcerting to say the least. We were trying to make the best of it, but when I was in the powder room area, one of the front windows would not lock and was loosely sitting in the window frame. That was my last straw. I called the lobby, spoke to the attendant and told her I was VERY unhappy with the room because of the urine stains and window. I couldn't believe a hotel that catered to families with pets would have CARPET in the hotel room...and would rent a room that had obvious urine stains locate throughout the room! The lobby receptionish calmly told me no problem, they could move me to a room that didn't have carpeting. My thought was, why would you put a guest with pets in a carpeted room, knowing the risk pets can cause if they have an accident?...but, I was willing to give the hotel another chance because it was later in the day and we weren't about to start looking for another pet-friendly hotel if they could make the issue right by us. Luckily, we were put in another room that had laminated flooring throughout, windows closed and it was much-better suited to our stay.So disappointing! :(

This was a lovely room with an outside enclosed porch. very clean and comfortable. the staff was very friendly and nice. the room did need a bit of repainting but very comfortable.

I like where they ask everything via text so both parties can be updated on what is going on for the check in and what we need. Staff is very helpful.

We absolutely love staying here. Only hotel we stay in now. Have recommended others and they enjoy the stay. So close to everything. And you can’t beat having Carla’s kitchen just down the street.

It was quoet and peacful, we didnt hear any npise or talking from any other rooms or the parking lot. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful- very attentive to any needs or requests. We had our dog with us and the hotel was very accommodating to her too! There is a nice grassy pet area, a pet wash area/tub, and they even gave her a little goodie bag when we checked in. The hotel has a fantastic view of the bay and is situated within walking distance of everything including Moro Rock, and Pismo beach/San Luis Obispo are just a short scenic drive away. We will definitely be staying here again!

Nice enough place but the deal breaker for me what the very very slow hot water that took more than 10 minutes to warm up, and the bad water pressure. They need to do something about this. It's wasting water to let it run that long before it gets hot. Beds are comfortable, the place is clean and the location is perfect.

Room was clean as was the property. Service desk was prompt and efficient when checking in and out. Liked it that they allow pets as I always travel with my dog.

Looks like the have been renovating. Seemed clean & neighbors were quiet so no complaints. Clean bathroom, large bed & very nicely sized room.

The room was not clean. The little couch had not been vacuumed, and there were crumbs all over. It looked like white and brown stain smudged in the fabric of the couch.. There is a skylight over the bed, which lets the light in early in the morning and there’s no way to block it out. Bathroom was extremely small, had mold all over on the walls of the skylight area. Terrible patch jobs with different sheen of paint Unprofessional. The breakfast did not include any fruit which is pictured in the website online there’s zero options, other than bread and instant oatmeal. we were there two nights three days and no clean towels were given the room was not serviced.

When checking in I got upgraded to an Ocean view room. The room was spacious and very clean. The view was exceptional. The staff are very friendly. The place was clean and quiet
