No daily housekeeping service. Understaffed restaurant. When requested replacement of towels after 2nd night, they did not even pick up used linens. Instead new towels were simply left in a bag inside room door! Bathroom tissue box ran out of tissues. Minimal bath supplies. No shower cap for example. Not what one expects from resort such as this.

Advice: bring cash to pay for extras because every card transaction had a very low % fee to process it. Atm is avail on-site. Warning: 20% tip added to nearly EVERY bill, every restaurant! this 20%tip warning is literally posted everywhere, so don't succumb to sticker shock when you get bill. I will tip more for exceptional service! The very friendly staff will show you the itemized bill if you ask, in case you need one. Good stuff: You can get a decent cup of coffee or even fancy coffee at main bar. Breakfast buffet was nice with lots of options. Beach area food stand had good food, bar had excellent service and the drinks were worth the price! The Osthoff landscape was really beautiful, lending to a very relaxing atmosphere, including friendly greetings and smiles from staff all over. Pricing for room was average for a busy resort, but kinda weird the way everyone attempted to charge to room (even after flashing the old plastic or cash). The resort settled bill and extras efficiently by providing easy to understand report via email. Bad stuff: Staff, during buffet breakfast, handled food without gloves and practically had to beg for salt/pepper and silverware after being seated and drinks delivered to our table. If you are not part of a large group (wedding, convention, etc), then be prepared to dine-out for dinner on weekends! we spent 1hr Saturday 6-7pm looking for nice restaurant, on and off resort, only to be turned away due to group/event reservation.
