We originally were booked at a hotel across the street and it was horrible. They gave me our money back I walked across the street. The concierge and everyone was great. The hotel was clean, beautifully decorated and the room was spacious. Thank you Sofitel!!!

Such a beautiful hotel with so many amenities. Room service breakfast was fabulous. Love the designer toiletries and the bath. Down comforter, fluffy robes and mini bar make this stay so luxurious. Check in process does take a while because staff seem to be trained to go over all the amenities in detail and there are so many. Everyone was so helpful and friendly.

Top-notch property! It checks all the boxes - excellent service/amazing staff, luxury look and feel, spotless rooms, and great location. This was our second stay and we have decided we will only stay at Sofitel from now on when we travel to Philly.

Our stay began with a marvelous doorman greeting us - his name started with a J- possibly Jameel. The hotel lobby and bar area were beautifully appointed and checkin was a breeze. Our suite was lovely although bathroom lighting is lacking. Drinks at the downstairs bar were very good and overall the staff were very friendly. We’ve stayed here before and will be back.

Excellent, caring service from the front desk staff and bellmen. The bed was perfect. Slept really well with my thrashy husband!

Food service very bad. I had 2 meals and experience 2 mistakes. Valet very expensive and it takes 25 minutes to get the car. Breakfast did not have chocolate although is in the menu, so if you don’t drink coffee or tea the is no option mainly when you have kids. I did not left service at the restaurant as the service was not good but they added 10$ without asking… I caught it at the check out.

Regarding the service.. From valet attendants to maintenance personnel, the staff at Sofitel was exceptional! The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. I highly recommend Sofitel, and will absolutely visit again.

Great hotel! Somewhat limited contact with staff but everyone we did encounter was lovely and helpful. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Check-in was fast and easy, valet parking very convenient. Room was exceptionally clean, spacious and quiet. Bed was extremely comfortable. Not necessarily chic or modern, but very well maintained and somewhat updated. Mini fridge not provided but available upon request. Nespresso coffee in room was really nice to have. Neighborhood was beautiful and within walking distance to everything.

Superb location. Aranyapura (may have misspelled his first name) at the reception desk, he has an Irish friend in Galway, was very helpful and provided an excellent service. I hope this comment gets back to him.

We received an "upgrade" upon checking in. Good on the sq feet. 5th floor, view of A/C units in next building. No privacy doors on bathroom. poor room lighting. The food options are just terrible. You can't get standard American food. We stayed there a long time ago. Had to go back because the Rittenhouse was booked. This place is just not for us. All 4 treadmill TV's were broken. Do I need to say more?

Great experience

We would like to give a shout out to our waiter during breakfast. His name is Michael and he was amazing. It was so great chatting with him in French and getting to know him. He made us feel so welcomed. We will definitely go back there because of him. He was friendly and approachable. Thank you, Michael for your hospitality.
