It was fine. Nothing spectacular. Room had some issues that could have easily been taken care of.

This is a rebranded Hampton (next to a caged liquor store) that is under "renovation" but that might be more of an excuse to not keep it clean than an actual renovation under way. We booked 2 non-refundable nights (realized our mistake immediately after booking) and didn't stay the second night because of the giant roaches that came out after dark. Staff wasn't rude since we weren't either, but also not helpful and did not care at all.

Second problem is the TV did not work. Called back and was told how to fix it. When that didn’t work the clerk at the desk came up and was able to get it working. She was very nice & pleasant. I wish I knew her name. The place was comfortable but needs upgrades. Breakfast wasn’t bad. Staff were very polite & pleasant and the only reason I would consider another stay at this hotel.

If I could rate this hotel a negative zero I would!! This place needs to be condemned! I have never stayed in a more awful hotel in Bessemer. The halls smell bad, the room just didn’t look clean, we didn’t have a fridge. Called front desk they delivered us an old dirty fridge that was full on mold and smelled horrible. The bathroom was terrible. No toilet paper. The tub needed a good cleaning. There’s chipped paint everywhere. I mean it was awful. Only good thing about the room is the bed was comfy. The AC was cold. The hotel terrible!! The ice maker looked filthy. I didn’t even want to get ice out of it. This place needs a serious update & good thorough cleaning or it needs to be shut down!! I just can’t express my dissatisfaction enough!!!

Good property

They had a very good breakfast, a large variety of hot food to pick from. The only thing I don’t like was they don’t clean your room on a daily basis if you’ll stay there three more days.

Great breakfast, great rooms, especially for the price. Smells a little funky near the elevators

Cockroaches were on the room. The refrigerator was not cleaned. Had to ask them to clean after check in. The bedsheets were not changed after last check out and floor was not mopped, stains and cream could be seen on floor. Had to leave due to family emergency and declined to refund the amount.

The terrific and happy staff with a delicious breakfast. Each employee I came into contact with was enjoyable and an asset. Bravo
