Overall a really nice hotel with a great decor. The spa was not running when we visited. The food at the restaurant was good, especially the breakfast. A bit to pricey for what you get but definitely not a bad experience.

Nice hotel with good service, but too expensive for what it is. Nicely decorated room, but we had a window facing the street, bathroom and shower are very small for this category, no air conditioning, no swimming pool so in my view not a five star hotel as advertised. Also be careful of the hidden costs, we were charged € 20 extra for our dog - I always wonder what for, do they not clean the room if you don’t have a dog? Also breakfast (which was arguably good) is a hefty € 29 per person, so in the end our room went from € 209 to more than € 280. All in all a nice hotel but too expensive for what it is.

I strongly recommend this hotel. The room was nice with a good view of the old castle ruins on top of a mountain. The surroundings were beautiful and the service excellent. It's also conveniently located, close to Göttingen and the Harz mountains.

Great hotel, lovely details and friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great breakfast. The only downside was the very soft mattress, and in my view breakfast should be included in the room rate as in most other hotels. Overall fantastic hotel though and i would come back again, but please change the mattresses...

Lovely hotel to spend the night on the way to or from the south. It almost seems like a time pocket. Very hospitable staff, we were allowed to lend the key to the nearby castle ruin, a wonderful experience. Good restaurant.

The staff was great. The room was very pretty and exactly as pictured online. The food was excellent. But, it was really hot! There is no air conditioning and the room was uncomfortable because of it. We asked for a fan, but did not receive one. Our glass door was adjacent to a common veranda so we could not have the door open more that a crack at the top at night. We opened the window at the top (the only option besides opening the glass door) but we had to have the drapes closed because there was a light right outside our room and there would have been absolutely no privacy. There was no air flow. It was so hard to sleep.

Best hotel I have stayed at multiple times. Great staff Great location Great food Wonderful golf Its also a 5 Star hotel Meaning a 5 C hotel . Thats like a restaurant with 3 michelin stars.

This hotel is truly a 5 star hotel, the staff is fantastic, kind ,friendly And so helpful. Also the hotel belongs to relais & Chateaux The hotel has won the prestigious 5 C rating and has been a member Since 1999. THE 5 C’s are. Character, Courtesy, Calm, Charm, And Cuisine. This is a great honor. Like restaurant with Michelin Stars. Make no mistake ....this hotel is one of the best.
