The hotel is run down and short on staff

Honestly, it was just ok. I was only here for 2 nights, a longer stay and I probably would’ve wished I’d book somewhere else. Mainly, the walls and floors were thin so I could hear everything from my neighbors and the cleaning crew. Non-smoking room, but smelled like the previous guest had smoked in there (not the hotel’s fault if the previous guest broke the rules but still unpleasant). Safe was broken, so after I created a code, the door was stuck closed. Fortunately, I always test an in room safe before putting my belongings in there, but I wasn’t able to use it because of the jammed door. Other than that, it was fine. Nothing wrong. Bed was firm, but comfortable enough. The area is ok. I loved staying near the port, but the surroundings of the hotel felt…rundown a bit. Would I stay again? Probably, if I was traveling on a budget. But if I could afford a nicer hotel, it would definitely be worth it. TL;DR Hotel was fine for a cheap room, and nothing was majorly wrong. But wasn’t fantastic either. Good budget choice.

Honestly did not expect such a spacious room! Balcony was huge too! Really enjoyed my stay and the staff were friendly and able to accommodate to a non-Spanish speaking person like me!

Wonderful location with easy access to the town center and nearby villages. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Highly recommended!

Really nice hotel, my issue was the late check in. At 1pm they don’t allow you to check in, so i had to leave my luggage in storage and as i had to go into town and i managed to actually check in at 10pm. It felt to me like the hotel intentionally don’t want customers checking in early. I only managed to sleep in the hotel, and in the morning i requested if possible to check out at 1 pm as i they only checked me in at 10 pm the night before. I had to pay 30Euro for this. This was quite disappointing and i felt the older hotel staff in reception could be a little bit friendlier. While most of the young male staff where very friendly and welcoming, the female staff in particular in reception was like Hitler, and it’s nice when as a paying customer you are made to feel welcome in a hotel of this kind.

Great location for walking around Old Town Ibiza, a great place if you want to be near everything but not right amongst it. Very helpful staff and well appointed room. Very happy with our choice of stay.

Overall a good place to stay. I stayed there for 1 night and would go back. One interesting system they have is that the room key is needed to enable electricity in outlets near the bed otherwise only a few outlets that are near the door will have electricity. I personally like it when hotels have irons and this one did not, however, there was complimentary water bottles which are always appreciated.

The hotel remains same as 40 years before… The bathroom is hold… No tissues available in room or in bathroom… Poor lightening in room so I was obliged to use my phone’s light early morning when no daily light can help. Anyway I just booked to stay few hours before taking an early morning flight…

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Royal Plaza. The room was clean and spacious and we loved the balcony! We had a great time at the swimming pool and the views from the rooftop terrace are wonderful. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to port and bus stop as well as plenty of shops and amazing restaurants. Overall, we had a great experience and the staff was friendly and accommodating as we asked to store our bags with them while we explored during our last day until our evening flight. As it was our first time in Ibiza, this hotel will always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you for everything!

The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable and had good air conditioning. The staff were nice enough to call me a taxi to the airport when I checked out.

The staff were outstanding, friendly and made the stay there a great holiday from the very first minute

The hotel is very dated. Mattress was painfully firm. Was unable to use the gym amenity. One of the reasons why I booked was to have gym access but was unable to use because it opened so late in the morning. Front desk and hostess at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.
