This is a great place to prepare for a departure to return home. We had an early flight, so we didn't want to worry about traffic from Athens, so getting to this hotel relieved us of that issue. We were able to walk right across the street and go to the airport. Restaurants were good, rooms were awesome, we even had a spa day!

Very good hotel next to the main Athens Airport. Close to the Metro link from Athens, which was approximately an hour away.
Didn’t use the restaurant or breakfast as an early flight to London.
Would recommend this hotel if you have an early flight out of Athens, or a late flight in.

It’s billed as a luxury hotel and while the room price is sort of that range value for the money not that much. I mean mid level four star business hotel stuff. Friendly, efficient staff and usually plenty of service people, sort of mediocre breakfast and rooms ok, but nowhere near particularly nice. Obviously the location is kind of convenient if you have a late arrival or early departure, but other than that … nah, one can find much better options.

This was a quick stop for us for an early flight and the hotel was perfect. It couldn’t be closer to the airport! The hotel was priced appropriately but the restaurant is crazy expensive!!! We had soup, a pizza, shared by 2 people with 2 drinks and it was $140 USD. That’s ridiculous!

It was very expensive. The bed was not comfortable, lopsided. Too many mirrors and unlabeled light switches. Yes, it’s right at the airport, which is why we booked it, but, ultimately, that convenience did not make up for the lack of included ‘wows’ I expected for the price.

Very disappointed with the pool as it was cold and had just 2 beds by it . Had a beer small beer and a glass of white wine in the roof top bar and 22€ was a rip off . I’m not sure the hotel is for us on the VFM front.

Nice clean hotel conveniently located at the airport for you to get some rest before a connecting flight. Limited food options, hotel restaurants are expensive, we went to the airport across the street to eat.

We always stay at the Athens Sofitel Hotel when traveling in Greece. It’s conveniently located across the street from the airport terminal and makes for a relaxing stay prior to flying home after a wonderful & busy vacation. The rooftop restaurant is wonderful! Everyone in the hotel is friendly and goes out of their way to ensure a great stay!
