The staff at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort were very helpful and amazing to talk to. Very respectful of our needs and made our stay very positive.

The front desk personnel were very accommodating to our requests. They informed us of construction for updates yet there was not obstructions or noise. It was as always - beautiful and wonderful staff. Thank you.

They were under repairs which they notified us of only a week before arrival. Room wifi was down all week. Neighbor noise was too much. Instructions on housekeeping were misleading as it did not include the hotel only the condominiums.

Great hotel right on the beach. Walking distances to so many restaurants and shopping. If you like a hotel bar or restaurant, there isn’t one but right next door is both. I’d stay here again.

Great location and clean property. Friendly staff as well. Enjoyed taking out some bikes for a quick ride, the grilling, the pool, and just relaxing in the courtyard.

Everything was great except the particular room we had (151) was very noisy making sleep difficult and had no view. I'm sure many other rooms do not have that issue.

This time however was horrible, we arrived early and asked for early check in (offering to pay) and they said no not a problem they would text us when the room was ready. At 4 a clock the entire lobby was full with mad guests and they had us all check in at once. Ridiculous, then the moment I checked in I got a text telling me how to clean up and leave. I will not be back and will be asking for some compensation

Only spent a night here, but staff were very friendly and professional. Room is a bit dated but bed was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the grounds or pool but it seemed very family friendly. Great views and very convenient location as well.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff was so friendly and property was well maintained. Only complaint is parking. Spots are hard to come by and parking garage is great but the spaces are very small and narrow making parking a bit of a challenge.

First time staying here and we had a great time. Loved the location and the property was beautiful

This stay was a bit of a disappointment. The room smelled moldy. The hotel sent me a text asking if there was anything the could do, i responded with"bring me an air freshener in the morning please" with no response back from them. The bathroom fan didn't work. Their satellite TV was so glitchy you had to turn it off. The front door was hard to open and close. There were no wash cloths in the room, you had to ask for. Screaming kids everywhere at different times day and night.

Great location, close to EVERYTHING. Highly recommend. Our room had a large kitchenette with seating for 4 at the table.

In the heart of Carlsbad Village and steps from the beach. It’s an easy walk to shopping and dining. Property is definitely dated. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Has great underground parking. Once you've parked you don't have to get back into your car until it's time to go home. Lots of shopping and restaurants that are all walkable to. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. The pool is very small and flooded with children. Nice adult jacuzzi for 18 & over. Not enough sitting room for hanging out on grass area after dinner. But I still love this place

I liked the location the most. Close to shops, restaurants and beach. What I didn't like was that the bathroom floor needs scrubbing. The windows and sills need a good cleaning and screens need to be repaired. On our arrival on July 22nd the girl at front desk was rude.

There was a mixup with the room I wanted. I was down graded. Tho they gave me a discount and threw in another room that I didn’t get to use which I felt I should have gotten a Discount for another time to utilize the mix up. Or get the additional room at another date to utilize their apologies.

They have friendly staff, comfortable beds and lots to do. The location is amazing, walking distance to great shopping and restaurants and the beach is right there. We were able to check in at 1:30 without a charge. I would stay here again.
