This was our first time staying in Carmel.
The location was quiet and convenient to town. We were very pleased with the hotel on all accounts, the rooms, courtyard, Jacuzzi and grounds. Beautiful and charming!
The staff could not of been more accommodating and most of all friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast with healthy and lovely!
I look forward to stay again at the Hotel Carmel!

This was our first time staying in Carmel.
The location was quiet and convenient to town. We were very pleased with the hotel on all accounts, the rooms, courtyard, Jacuzzi and grounds. Beautiful and charming!
The staff could not of been more accommodating and most of all friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast with healthy and lovely!
I look forward to stay again at the Hotel Carmel!

Parking is difficult to find if you arrive late. We really recommend arriving early and finding a spot. The area is extremely walkable so not driving around is not an issue.

This was a last minute idea… loaded up the car and drove away for the long weekend. Always a a treat to be in Carmel and Hotel Carmel made it twice as nice.

The hotel was very nice. Friendly staff. Large clean rooms. Parking was not ideal but there are options. Proximity to Brophy's is a plus. Shout out to Elizabeth for being a ray of sunshine at the front desk in the morning.

We booked our stay here at the last minute and we were wonderfully surprised. The staff was so helpful and kind. The premises was charming and quaint and clean. The Libby was beautiful with a true cottage core feel. Loved the cookie and sangria on arrival. The color scheme. Outside was lovely cream and black trim with lush greenery hanging down . Inside was bright clean and so comfortable. We booked the king size bed and loved that the room had a fireplace. Nice tv coffe and bottled water with lovely wicker seating. Also love the seating infront of our room. The outdoor fireplace and seating was also lovely. This immediately became a traditional place for us for our next trip. Thank you so so much for making our stay lovely. Also we god a solid night sleep with the bed and loved that the windows and shutters opened. :-)

This hotel is absolutely charming! Great service and great location. Having Brophy's onsite is very convenient. There is also sangria and cookies daily for guests in the lobby. The continental breakfast was plenty to get us going every morning. Espresso maker in the room, and coffee in the lobby. The property landscaping adds to its beauty. The ability to open windows to let the fresh, cool air into the rooms was also very nice. Our room had a smell that I can only compare to what your grandma's house smelled like. Not a bad smell, but definitely a smell I associate with age. We were on the second floor and our floors creaked when we walked which made me wonder if the first floor guests could hear us. There is no elevator so if you are needing an ADA compliant room your choices may be limited.

What a charming little hotel! Our room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. We had a private balcony where we could leave the door open for fresh air. Property has an area with fire pit and hot tub. There is a Tavern attached to the hotel with great food, beer and service which we especially appreciated after a long day of travel. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff bent over backwards to help with questions and requests. Fire pit area was wonderful to socialize at. Hot tub was great. Would definitely stay here again!
