I am not one to leave negative reviews, but if I can save someone from making the same mistake we did it's worth it. We booked a stay here through expedia for our family of 4 with two small children. The photos looked good and seemed reasonable for the price. The photos used here are not an accurate depiction of this location and I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't even taken at this location. We checked in, and after 2 minutes in the room we checked out. The elevator was broken, the air conditioner was broken or non existent, we booked a fridge room - there was no fridge. It smelled horrible, felt so unclean (they had windows open to air out the stairwell because there was no air in there) we were afraid to take our shoes off, the lock on the door didn't look secure. We checked out after sitting there for a few minutes and then drove around Minneapolis at 11PM with our two small children to find another hotel where we felt safe, and obviously had to pay more money since it was so last minute. We contacted expedia to let them know what happened and HERE'S THE KICKER - they contacted the hotel and the hotel told them that they didn't get the keys back until morning and that we did use the room the full night so they would not refund us! So not only was it terrible, but they lied about us checking out just before 11PM and we weren't able to get our refund. We will be contacting the head office of the Motel 6 about this. But be warned - this is not a good place to stay.

Staff at this hotel location have been EXTREMELY KIND AND HELPFUL during difficult time. Thank you staff at Brooklyn Center 6 Motel.

It was not very nice didn't feel like at home I've been coming here for 25 years worst time ever but I won't give up on him I still stand

One of the most disgusting places I've ever seen. Nothing on their site is true. No A/C,rooms had not been cleaned in awhile. Layers of dust and hairs everywhere. Would not recommend. Area felt very unsafe. Checked out after 5 minutes.

The AC at the room didn’t work and the room smelled like cigarette even though it was a non smoking room. The property looked dirty overall.

Non-smoking room smelled terribly bad of cigarette smoke and cigarette burn marks on the bedding. Water would barely come out of the sink tap and the sink wouldn’t drain. Stay away!

This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. First off, the pictures are WAY different than the actual rooms. When me and my friend first walked in it seemed alright … then when we get up to our room, it’s disgusting. Air conditioner sounded like it was going to explode, no comforter on the beds (we weren’t even going to touch the nasty looking beds to see if there was bed bugs present), our bathroom was DISGUSTING. There was some sort of bodily fluids on our shower. It didn’t even look like the room had been cleaned whatsoever. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. We didn’t even stay half an hour and we left to stay somewhere else. This hotel does not feel safe and it’s a total dump! Stay somewhere else!!! The only GOOD thing I have to say about this hotel is that the front desk person was very understanding and they said they could understand why we wouldn’t want to stay here as they wouldn’t even let themselves or their family stay at this hotel.

Finding the Motel was very hard. It was off the road and the sign to the Motel was very small to find and no big sign to see. Then during the night a person above our room was very loud walking around and stomping around. Room not sound proof. Also blood on wood floor.

It was near some amenities. A few in mind i would have liked is laundry, more restaurants and or a dave n busters in driving distance

Overall good experience but a little house keeping would have been nice. Never got clean towels even though we asked.
