Loved our stay, this is a charming alternative to more modern era hotels. Building is interesting, check out the basement. Great location! Lovely little room with character, as promised, exactly as depicted in pic. Comfortable king bed and pillows, was able to turn the A/C fan on for white noise to sleep. Place was quiet the whole time (inside and outside building). Building is interesting and a nice mix of old and new; all conveniences are provided (Keurig machine in room; filtered water machine(free), microwave, vending machine, coffee machine ($1) all downstairs). Parking is just around the corner, not an issue once you understand where to go ($15). Staff were genuinely kind and helpful. I recommend and would definitely return!

The hotel is very inconspicuous from the outside. Blink, and you'll miss it. Check in was quick and easy. Parking in the underground lot was easy to get to and cheap ($12.00) for over night. Granted, all the doors to get into the garage were locked on Saturday morning making it frustrating to get back to our car. The room was nice, and clean. Window AC unit and a heater in the room kept things comfortable. The shower/tub combo was very narrow and the tub was a bit spongy giving it a feeling of instability. Overall noise level wasnt bad. Good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was hot and strong. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were problems with the TV and heat (radiators) not working properly. The staff helped resolve those problems, but they returned. The location of the hotel is excellent. We would stay there again.

I will come back to this hotel. All members of staff were kind, helpful, and professional. The housekeeping kept my room cleaner than any place I’ve ever stayed. It’s a simple, basic, no frills kind of traveler’s hotel. I visited Montréal to see the city, not lounge about the hotel all day. That said, the bed was really comfortable.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Very close to the Metro which is connect to 3 different lines. The building was a bit older, but it was made up with it's charm.

The hotel was less than a 5-minute walk from the Berri-UQAM metro. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was super comfy. I would recommend and stay there again.

I did not end up staying. My first room’s lock was missing and the second room’s lock was bent/tampered with even though the chain would’ve stayed. Everything felt a bit dingy and while I’m sure the sheets were technically clean, overall the space was not very nice. The front desk manager was a star though - very accommodating and welcoming and gave great dinner recs. As a woman traveling alone I am especially attentive to feeling safe in a building and it does not feel like security is taken very seriously here based on the condition of the doors and their locks.

The property is very old and somewhat care-worn; however, the location is convenient. You can walk to the best sites in the city. It is also very quiet, which we appreciated. The beds are comfortable, as well.

Really like the young lady at the front counter. It wasn't the nicest hotel I have been in but the location and the price make it worth it.

Checking in and out is fast. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is conveniently located close to the metro, bus stations, shops and restaurants.
