We have stayed here numerous times, the last time we stayed there were empty beer cans next to the couch, which we did make a big deal out of. This time there were beer bottle caps on the floor, and when we pulled out the bed underneath the couch, it was full of Body hair and numerous stains of who knows what. When I talked to the front desk about it, they could’ve cared less. Very unlikely we will stay there again as we were very disgusting. Also, when I asked the maid working on a different room if I could have new bath towels, they told me that I had to go to the front desk that he did not give them out.

Choosing not to offer daily maid service is ok. Not informing customers of this up front, only for them to find out beds weren't made and no fresh towels delivered at the end of a long cold day at a football game, is extremely poor hospitality. Embarrassing.
Pull out bedding was also not available and had to be requested after check in. An unnecessary inconvenience.
Overall, just a general sense that the management is less than enthusiastic about providing a stay experience that feels like comfort is a priority.

Hotel is very clean - both lobby and rooms. The rooms are the most spacious you can find in Ames. We love staying there for that matter. The only reason for not rating it a complete 5 stars is that in the morning a family with young children had their kids running around and I could hear it in my room. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay and worth the cost.

I like the clean, modern look of the hotel, from the lobby, to the room. Very spacious room, comfortable bed, design overall was great. I enjoyed the breakfast. Orange juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, waffles - all very good. I was also very surprised to find sausage gravy and biscuits! Excellent in every area. I recommend this hotel. We’ll definitely stay again.

We only stayed for one night due to moving our child into her college dorm. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. Very clean hotel from the entrance throughout the lobby and hallway. Also a very clean and comfortable eco friendly room. I’ll be sure to rebook here for future trips to visit my child while she’s a resident at ISU

We love to stay here when coming to Ames. This time the initial room we were given had a dirty bathroom. I asked to change rooms or have it cleaned and I was immediately given another room. The front desk worker did a great job making sure we were happy with the new room.
