The staff was superb and responsive to all requests. Breakfast was tasty with the selection of fruit, yogurt, granola, various types of bread, turnovers and multiple different egg dishes. Coffee and tea were available 24 hours a day. The room was a third floor walk up, which could be a problem for some, but was not for me. The building was close to the beach and the downtown area.

Had an excellent stay overnight, was so comfortable and clean, all the staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was Devine. The little outside area was cozy and it inviting. Would love to go back another time.

Love the church-camp feel, in particular around the Great Auditorium and the tabernacle and at the pavilion on the Boardwalk. The continuous Boardwalk from town to town is phenomenal!
I've stayed at The Carriage House for many years and am happy that the new owners are maintaining its excellence. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was exceedingly friendly -- so homey! Very much appreciated the use of bikes, chairs, beach towels -- nice not to have to bring our own.
Will definitely be back!

Love the church-camp feel, in particular around the Great Auditorium and the tabernacle and at the pavilion on the Boardwalk. The continuous Boardwalk from town to town is phenomenal!

Kathy was absolutely delightful, making us feel so welcomed! It’s a great area to stay in, easy to walk to the shops/restaurants in Ocean Grove, the beach and a short walk to Asbury Park. It was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful courtyard area of the Inn. And we had to leave early for an event and didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. Wonderful place to stay and we look forward to going back!

It’s quiet, yet convenient to the beach, to downtown and to the auditorium and all of its activities. The manager Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. Her homemade breakfast fare was delicious. I hope to return to the Carriage hospitality and to my favorite quaint village, as soon as possible.

This place was absolutely DIVIVE! No complaints at all. Kathy was incredibly kind and accommodating, the establishment was impeccable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options! I can’t wait to return!!

Very comfortable and awesome breakfast. The staff were very attentive to all our needs and Cathy greeted us upon arrival…I went for some rest and relaxation after my cancer journey and hearing this she upgraded us to a balcony room where I could sit outside and rest and listen to the ocean…Short distance is the beautiful Ocean Grove boardwalk and pier. Took a nice walk on the boardwalk into Asbury Park….short walk into town where there are shops and food. The bed and room were comfortable and decorated so warmly. Gina served an awesome home cooked breakfast! Must stay in this old Victorian town in this beautiful Victorian house.

Took a nice walk on the boardwalk into Asbury Park….short walk into town where there are shops and food. The bed and room were comfortable and decorated so warmly. Gina served an awesome home cooked breakfast! Must stay in this old Victorian town in this beautiful Victorian house.

The property was excellent. Nice, clean, Pleasant. Good service, Delicious Breakfasts. Kathy was such a pleasant person to communicate with. So down to earth. Went out of her way to accommodate me. I have already recommended this place to my friends. I will definitely be back.

After readout he reviews I chose to stay here for my single night business trip . Great clean room , delicious breakfast , very nice staff and fell asleep hearing waves in the distance. Great place !

Such a lovely, relaxing stay with my adult daughter! The bed was super comfortable, room was cozy, & breakfast was delicious! Cathy was fantastic! She was super nice, suggested places to eat & shop, which were awesome! Will definitely stay again!

Gorgeous, beautiful hotel in a Victorian house. Wonderful breakfast with homemade frittata, french toast, chocolate brioche, muffins, avocado toast and more. All served with beautiful china in a lovely dining room. Charming and comfortable.
