It was lovely, quiet and very safe. Very convenient to be able to charge thr EV at the motel.

One of the soap dispensers in the shower had leaked all over the floor. To look at the floor it just looked wet. When I stepped in I slipped on the soap and only saved myself from falling by grabbing the safety rail.

I have stayed at the Matilda many times over the years for business and it usually is great however people were roaming around creating lots of noise late at night and I felt unsafe.
The restaurant is not open and even the drink machine was non functioning.
Sad to see it go down hill as it used to be great.

The foul bathroom water smell meant the bathroom door needed to be closed at all times. The mattress needs replacing as you can feel the springs in your back and is very sagged.
Don’t tell people you’re upgrading them when you actually downgrade them. Meaning if we book a room with a queen bed & a lounge don’t change them to a queen bed and a single bed, when it’s a couple. Won’t be back unfortunately.

group of four so separate beds were needed, this motel offers a great two bedroom room that caters for this situation. Good size bathroom and tea/coffee facitilities.

I use to stay there years ago when I was a manager for FACS. It’s changed a lot since then, but the standard is the same. It’s the best motel in Dubbo.

The bed in my room was in poor condition. It was uncomfortable to sleep on as it had a definite dip in the middle of the mattress.
Otherwise, it was what I expected for the price.
