For the price and the 4 star I had higher expectations, the sauna area Is not so nice , no opportunity to relax outside as is directly next to a garage. The room with Terrasse is just two table in a grass directly next to the next room… but the staff was nice and friendly and the restaurant has very good food although is also expensive.

We stayed in a suite so the room was very spacious. Room service was very prompt. Breakfast was great. The food at the hotel's restaurant was excellent. Parking is a little challenging as the spaces are tight. Reception was very accommodating.

Clean, welcoming,great hotel with great amenities and friendly staff. A great place to relax and a great place to stay if you plan on going on a lot of excursions. Outside of the city center but that’s not a problem if you have a car

The room was very nice and spacious. There is a nice parking garage on site. No English channels on the tv. The restaurant was ok, not as good as I thought it would be after reading other reviews and was overpriced.

We had a pleasant one night stay at the hotel. It was our first trip as a family of 4. My toddler loved the rooms. We ordered room service for dinner as it was easier for us. We were very impressed with the food quality and speed. The breakfast spread was excellent. The only negative thing that was the view outside my room 217. There was some metal construction scaffolding which was quite unsightly. It would have been better to have some plants.

Our room so spacious and so comfortable. We loved having our breakfast out on the balcony. It was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. We had dinner one night in the hotel's restaurant and it was excellent. The staff was all very friendly and helpful - like when my GPS took me to the back of the hotel vs. the front and it was very confusing given I don't speak German. I appreciate the patience and help in navigating us there, as well as answering all my tired questions. The little town where the hotel is has an excellent pastry shop within walking distance, which is where we grabbed our breakfast as well as a pharmacy for toiletries we needed. I appreciated the on-site parking garage and the close proximity to downtown Freiburg. If ever back in Freiburg, this will be our go-to hotel. Loved it.

Cool and quiet. Everything nice. Wonderful pool and gardens and vast outdoor seating, shade or sun. Dinner and breakfast both super. On a quiet inner parcel just off the main street in a quiet village suburb. Buses and tram for the city a short walk away. Weingut a few doors down. In this case you actually get what you pay for.

We did not have dinner but the breakfast was fantastic and catered for all tastes.We will definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area. As we were travelling through it had easy access to the A5. Highly recommended.
