I arrived late in the evening on a Monday. As an north American who barely speaks Portugues, the staff was professional and very helpful. Even though they did not speak English, my check-in was quick and flawless. My room was close enough to the reception desk and the evening manager assisted me with my bags by carrying them to my room. I stayed at the hotel in São Jose do Rio Preto for two weeks. I had a delicious breakfast almost every day. I had lunch one time and dinner many times in the hotel restaurant. The food was delicous and well prepared. As a foreigner in Brazil, I really enjoyed the new foods and tastes. The restaurant staff was extremely professional and respectful. My room was clean and large enough for me during my two-week stay. The bathroom was excellent and I felt comfortable and relaxed during my stay. The internet worked flawlessly with broadband in the room and wifi throughout the entire hotel and restaurant. I enjoyed getting on skype at night while at the pool. The maids came around everyday to clean the room, the two beds and change the towels. Everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy working at the hotel. The hotel is away from the city but also close enough to take a taxi within minutes. I became friends with the driver who picked me up without waiting from the hotel. The hotel was very secure and safe and staff was present for security in the reception area. This is really an excellent place to stay!
