I have never stayed in a hotel with such accommodating staff. They truly went above and beyond from the bellhops to reception to the waitstaff in the bar. The attached restaurant is a busy tourist attraction, but hotel guests were welcomed immediately.

The shower was within the bath and the height to access was quite dangerous and prone to falls , also not user friendly if you had small children to supervise.

No walk in shower. The tub is a death trap. Slick as ice and big step Down to slick as ice floor. Eventually noticed a plastic step under cabinet I presume for this. Had outdoor terrace which was great to enjoy cigar on. Bed a little hard. Great breakfast and beautiful hotel. Staff were amazing!

What a lovely stay we had. We got upgraded to a junior suite because it’s my birthday week and I was given a chocolate cake which was really delicious.

I arrived to the hotel way before check in time. They didn’t have my booked room available for an hour. They upgraded me to a junior suite without hesitation. Hotel is stunning! So close to restaurants in the Jewish area.

Beautiful hotel with nicely decorated rooms and well located in Budapest. Staff is courteous overall but some of the cleaning support staff can be rather abrupt with their knocking at 8AM – my mistake for not putting up the DND sign. Restaurant staff is also helpful, but I wish it had elevator access for people with mobility issues.

Lovely grand hotel! Excellent service from the bellmen, front desk, concierge, spa and housekeeping. Delicious meal at The White Salon with amazing decor, food and excellent service. We had massages and facials at the spa and then enjoyed the sauna pools and steam. The rooms were huge and very comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom with nice soaps and towels. My family loved this hotel.
It’s located on a busy street and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the touristy areas. But we looked at the hotel as a destination in itself. Jennifer the concierge, was super helpful and booked us a boat cruise and helped with restaurant and shopping suggestions.
Overall we had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous hotel. Can’t wait to visit again.

A lovely hotel, with large rooms - some with terraces. Adjacent to the famous and popular New York Cafe. Hotel breakfast is very good. Service is adequate to above average. Lobby is spacious and light, with plenty of places to relax. Poet's Bar is a nice addition. Location is a little outside of the central area so it took 20 minutes or so to walk to everyday. Prices lower than similar hotels located more centrally so a reasonable trade off. Would recommend.

This place is just awful. The room was beautiful… the staircase and ceilings were beautiful. The door guys were wonderful the lady at check in… not so wonderful.. our roof was leaking the whole time we were there. The restaurant staff was absolutely rude. Spent two hours in there and they never filled our water glasses or asked us if we wanted refilling our cocktails. The food was pretty good but it wasn’t hot. It was better when I ordered room service. I was here for a work trip and I came to relax, enjoy the spa, and work on my laptop in between meetings. These people treated me like I was low rent scum and I would not recommend staying here at all. The manager even messaged me basically telling me that I had no reason to complain because it was pretty there and my bed was comfortable. I’m sorry but if I’m paying for a five star hotel I want five star service. As a business owner my entire staff would be fired for the way these people treated me.
I spent about 2 hours in the spa. It was very underwhelming and the lady that massaged Me wasn’t welcoming at all which made it really awkward. Please spend money somewhere better… it’s pretty, but not pretty enough to be treated like trash. The manager alone is a great reason to not go there. Id advise corporate to remove him. Thanks for guaranteeing that I never do business in Budapest ever again. Also… the homeless population outside the building is crazy. So much crime out there… unsafe… rude and just awful place.
