Friendly welcome. Characterful building, both times I've stayed here so far I've had rooms with old, original features eg old beams.
Clean and comfortable rooms, firm but comfortable beds. If I'm going to nitpick, the low water pressure makes the shower a bit underwhelming, but I'm really being fussy. The food is homecooked and so good, especially the pies! Friendly service in the restaurant. My hotel of choice when working in the area!

This is an old hotel and sympathetically furnished. My room was at the top with beams and funny shaped doors. It felt like stepping back in time. I spent only one night there but would recommend it if you're exploring the area. Lovely staff who were very helpful.
Lots to choose on the breakfast menu too.
Would definitely return.

Lovely overnight stay with breakfast. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff throughout from check-in to check-out. Good breakfast and comfortable room. There is no internal lift that I'm aware of to the bedrooms up flights of stairs..

We stayed here a week and felt totally at home. It is walkable to everything we wanted to shop for in Cirencester. Their full-breakfast is varied and plentiful. Dinner menu is lovely too.

A very welcoming hotel with friendly and attentive staff. The breakfasts are cooked to order and are wonderful, with excellent ingredients, The general standard of cleanliness was also very high. And of course it was only a 5 minute walk into the town centre, The decent car park was also a bonus,

The staff are amazing, very friendly and so helpful. It’s in a very convenient position for the town and there is parking. It is very clean but could do with a little updating particularly carpets.

We made a mistake with the room and booked a compacted double ( to small) but apart from that everything else was fine we had a great time staff very friendly even when it came to clearing up after pidgeons

Had a great stay here for a long weekend with our dog. Room very spacious with comfortable bed, staff were very friendly, good car parking and so close to the centre of town - literally just a few minutes walk to all attractions, pubs, shops, cafes etc - would definitely recommend!
