I usually have nothing but nice things to say when I stay at the Hyatt Place, but I was disappointed with the service at this one. I stayed at a different Hyatt Place the previous night, but due to them not having availability for Saturday night, I had to switch hotels. I called this hotel to ask if they would happen to accommodate early check-in. They could not, which of course is within their right. I then asked if my room would be ready by check-in and the person on the phone assured me it would be. I get to the hotel at 4:30 and Rebeckah rudely told me my room was not ready and I needed to wait. She stated they were overbooked and I’m the only one with a queen bed so I will have to wait a bit longer. She was unapologetic and rude and I’ve honestly never been spoken to like that by a Hyatt Place employee especially when check in was at 3 and I arrived 90 mins past check in time to not have a room yet assigned to me. For my inconvenience, I was given a free glass of beer. I also left the hotel and when I came back I heard her complaining to another employee about another guest being upset their room was also not ready. “These people are so entitled,” I overheard her saying. The room was nice enough, but because of the customer service and also there not being a pool, I don’t think I will stay at this particular Hyatt Place again.

It was my daughter’s 9th birthday and she wanted to stay the night in a hotel. There were two things I had an issue with. The deadbolt to the door wouldn’t lock so I had to use the hanger hack. And when the AC would come on it was a very loud noise coming from it.

The exterior grounds could be better maintained and a couple other outside items. Love coming to the facility the staff has been super nice.

There were burns of some sort on the carpet and what appeared to be blood on the carpet and also smeared on the door frame between sitting area and the bathroom. The sound from a/c fan was deafening. I thought a train was headed toward the room .
