Hotter than the surface of the sun. They switch off the air conditioning. Not sure why? I think they believe they are saving penguins rather than caring about the comfort of their guests.
Someone was also smoking on our floor. Took me back to the 90’s. I could have murdered 20 Marlboro lights, right there and then.

We stayed overnight and it was a very comfortable stay and very conveniently located near the old town and cathedral. The rooms are modern and the bathrooms are great. Will definitely stay here again if passing through.

We stayed here 3 nights as a base for visiting the Black Forest. It was perfect. Nice hotel in a central location. You could easily walk into the town. Parking located below the hotel - £20 per night. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel as it was expensive but there were bakeries nearby which were lovely. Freiburg is a good location to drive to various places from.

Very confortable nice hotel, great location near the cathedral and the old town. The staff were awesome, mailed us some items we forgot - very very helpful!! Everyone spoje English so well, very kind.

A good comfortable stay with the family in the old town of Freiburg. Good location and sufficient amneties in the hotel. Recommended!

The dining options leave something to be desired: on Monday there is no possibility of dining in the hotel, which was an inconvenience. On our way backj we could sample the menu, but it was not up to much. Parking is in a garage under the hotel. On oru way back, however, the floor of the garage which had parking places reserved for guests of the hotel proved closed, and the garage floor underneatch proved rather busy. It would have been different had we been informed of these changes.
