Lovely, clean, comfortable place with really nice hosts. They were so helpful with restaurant reservations and tour reservations. The home is located in a nice neighborhood. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a small boutique option.

Cristian and Adri are the best hosts! Easy-going, welcoming, full of great ideas for where to eat and what to do. Superb breakfast, beautiful decor and rooms filled with light. Lovely courtyard for relaxing. We were so comfortable and would gladly return again!!

Mon séjour a été une belle surprise et très agréable. Andréanne et Christian sont des hôtes remarquables. Ils sont aux petits soins avec leurs clients.
La chambre était super confortable. Pas de balcon mais un accès priviligié à un petit jardin aménagé par eux. Magnifique et décoré avec goût.
La localisation de cet hôtel est parfaite. Proche de plusieurs cafés et restos à distance de marche. Christian a aussi des contacts précieux et il n'hésite pas à recommander des endroits.
Andréanne nous a concocté un delicieux déjeuner le lendemain matin.
Si je retourne dans cette région c'est à cet endroit que je retourne sans aucune hésitation . Vous ne regretterez pas.

We had a wonderful time at Escentia boutique hotel. Andreanne and Christian went above and beyond to make sure we had all that we needed. The breakfast was made to order and they had options for my dietary restrictions. The outside garden is very quiet and relaxing. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts!!

The hosts were wonderful. They went way out of their way to make us welcome and to make our Stay enjoyable. However the review deferred maintenance items on the property. Nothing major, but less than perfect.

Andreann and Christian are so lovely
The Way Ecencia had lovely rooms and charming little nooks in the gardens
The blow dryer in the room was the best hotel dryer I’ve ever had and that’s including the big fancy hotels
They took such great care of us with wonderful dinner recommendations and arrangements for transportation
The breakfast was delicious and served with individual and personal care for preference and food allergies
We felt like we were leaving family when we checked out

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Esencia. The gated property is a nice and clean, breakfast amazing, location just a few blocks from the ocean, Surrounded by many restaurants, Christian and Adro are amazing hosts. Uber or Taxi are convenient for transportation. Highly recommend!

Beautiful garden surrounding elegantly restored building gives feeling of welcoming and peaceful life even if just off busy street with lots of restaurants and cafes and services. Staff very kind and accommodating. Breakfast wonderful. Room had large windows looking out onto green treetops with flowers and birds. Bedding warm and mattress comfortable. Bathroom has great shower and fluffy towels. Everyone super nice.

The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated. The whole place feels more like a home than an hotel.
The little seating areas outside are a delight.
We did have a slight issue with a lack of hot water the morning we were leaving. However, we didn’t have time to mention it, so I can’t complain that it wasn’t sorted.
On the whole I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

The hotel is a labor of love, painstakingly crafted from beautiful pieces of wood and art and interesting materials, lovely details everywhere. The owners Adri and Cris are as warm and hospitable as can be. The breakfast is fantastic, the beds are comfy, the location is perfect...definitely and highly recommend!

This is a special place and we could not fault any aspect from the attention to detail, personalised customer service, super breakfast and a central location. Stay at this hotel and you won't want to leave. Cristian and Adri are super hosts and we woild recommend this lovely to anyone looking for that some extra from a hotel.

The hosts make the difference for this small hotel. They’re able to help with recommendations and reservations of all kinds - restaurants, tours. Also valuable safety tips. We drove to Vina and the fact that we were able to park at the hotel was invaluable.

We really enjoyed staying at Escencia hotel. Christian and his wife were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable staying. The room was very clean, new and beautiful. The garden was also the highlight of this hotel. It makes us feel relaxed and calm. Another this is that even though this facility is near the beach, it was unbelievably quiet so we were able to sleep well.
Breakfast was also good. We were able to choose what we wanted from the menu. It was served neatly and was delicious.

We really enjoyed staying at Escencia hotel. Christian and his wife were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable staying. The room was very clean, new and beautiful. The garden was also the highlight of this hotel. It makes us feel relaxed and calm. This was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. It is a gem hidden from streets of superb dining and shopping. Everything is extremely clean and top quality including the bed and linens. The owners are delightful. Breakfast is made to order with great variety available. Esencia earns the highest rating possible!

We had three relaxing wonderful days at Esencia. The garden is an oasis in a busy seaside city, we enjoyed sitting in the garden in the sun. The owners were very helpful with suggestions for tours and great restaurants. When you are in the area make sure to do the Street Art walking tour with Sebastian in Valparaiso. It was definitely a highlight of our stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend Esencia to friends and family.
