Very nice hotel experience, terrific location, on-site restaurant, good breakfast buffet included in room rate, front-desk staff very friendly and responsive. Look forward to staying again, gladly recommend to others.

This is a very nice place to stay. It was a little out of the way for our trip, but well worth it. We liked everything about it and plan to stay there again.

Excellent hotel. We had a 5 day stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Clean, comfortable, lovely staff, great breakfast and a convenient location.

One of the Best places to stay in Champaign!

Very friendly at the front desk and rapid check in. Room was very clean and bottle water for coffee or tea. Great location.

Across the street from U of I. Lobby is spacious and comfortable. Games/books available but not cluttered. Restaurant on location. We booked with the expectation of a tub/shower unit but only a walk in shower. Not easy with a 2 year old but managed. Our room was very nice and had 2 robes for use during our stay. We were informed that there was breakfast until 9:30. When we went down at 9:00 it was unclear where said breakfast was. We asked at front desk and were told there was no continental breakfast but breakfast was available at the restaurant. Quite confusing and it’s frustrating when you get conflicting information. I decided to call down and ask, then it was explained that the continental breakfast is at the restaurant but by then it was almost over. So we went and ate at MerryAnn’s. The employee we asked in person was unhelpful at best. The front desk should be overly helpful and accommodating for guests. It was still a very nice hotel.

We loved our stay here. The room was impeccably clean and all fixtures were in fantastic condition - no sign of wear and tear. I had quite possibly the best shower of my life here as well! Lastly, the continental breakfast was fantastic - definitely the best I’ve had as far as continental breakfasts go. Great service, highly professional staff, and beautiful lobby and room. The perfect stay!

Faye at the front was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. We were given plenty of info upon check in which was fast and easy. The room was very nice and beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was not a typical continental breakfast. Coffee was excellent with very nice options such as breakfast wraps, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and much more.

The place would have been quite wonderful but when we arrived for a one-day stay we discovered that the pet fee for one dog was almost much as the room cost for the one day we were staying! I asked them if I could negotiate that that and they said no. I asked if we could cancel the reservation and they said if you did you would lose everything you paid for the room. So we had to stay and pay $100 for our dog to be there one night. Also there was supposed to be a dog bed and a water bowl in our room and there wasn't. So if you have a pet in this so-called pet friendly hotel you'd better have a lot of money. I've never had to pay that much for a pet in a hotel or Airbnb.

This was a very nice clean hotel. Breakfast was not that great-not many choices so I think they could improve on that since their breakfast is at their restaurant on site. It is a quiet hotel and our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I wouldn’t say this is a very upscale hotel just a nice, clean place to stay.

We love staying here. The staff are wonderful! It makes it very enjoyable to watch our son play and stay so close to the stadium. Great walk for tailgating.

Came in town only for a football game and stayed one night. Happened to be my fiancé’s birthday which I mentioned to Faye when they called me in advance to confirm my stay. Not only did Stanley at the front desk mention it to me on checkin, but he made sure to get the birthday boy’s favorite beverage and 2 lovely cupcakes to our room before we returned. I travel A LOT and this gesture made us feel so important and special. This was the best service and intention I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I hope I have more opportunities to pass through Champaign, will most certainly come back.

We’ve stayed at the I-Hotel a few times over the years. It’s located near Clark Lindsey Village, which makes visiting family there very convenient. Proximity to UI campus, restaurants, and thoroughfares makes this hotel an attractive alternative. The street it’s on is fairly quiet, and Houlihan’s restaurant offers decent food, drinks, and music. Just wish it had a pool.

Wonderful! I will pay extra to stay here to watch my son play. It’s wonderful. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean. I will highly recommend to everyone. We love staying here. ILL!!!
