Clean a little dated but no problems 1 night stay for theatre good location

Rubbish service, nearly rude front office staff. Leaky roof was ignored, noise and damp kept me up. Bed old, mattress tired. Bathroom meh: shower in the bath and poor controls don't help. Honestly, very underwhelming.

Staff were excellent. Room was a little tired. Room chair was verging on breaking, curtains were ripped, bathroom should signs of age and could have been cleaner. The 2 double beds was excellent for our twin room. Overall stay ok, however probably not worth the money.

Lovely large room with spacious bathroom. Bed was comfortable and the continental breakfast was very good. Loved the location. Easy walk to the tube, around the corner from the British Museum and close to Covent Garden.

Great location. Spacious rooms. Close to several tube stations, restaurants, universities and the British Museum.

The carpeting was pulled up and needs replacement. We were in a basement room and there were silverfish on the walls. There was also a funny smell about the room.

Very quiet property near Russell Square and British Museum. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was polite and helpful.

I'm sorry, I was not impressed. First, we booked a quadruple room, it wasn't available when we arrived but they accommodated our family into two separate rooms instead, for our trouble, breakfast was complimentary the next morning. Both rooms were large. Otherwise, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable, carpet was threadbare in places, curtains shredding, bathrooms need a little updating, some of the shower knobs very difficult to turn, no deadbolt on the doors. We were woke in the middle of the night by horrible noise coming from the ceiling that went on for over an hour, like some sort of water pump (definitely included water running). The second night they accommodated us to a quadruple room, it was pretty much the same condition as the first two. For almost $400US a night, I kind of expect a little nicer, higher end room. Considering we stayed elsewhere for the first 2 nights of our stay in London for only $10 more. The staff at the front were very nice, helpful and friendly. The end, I'm not really sure who set us up but we had to leave for the airport at 5 in the morning, I asked if they could arrange a taxi for us and they said they could. The cost was arranged by the hotel at 90£. It was fine, our driver was there on time, I double checked the price. When we got to the airport he wouldn't take card, only cash which multiple people said true taxis only take card. Ended up scamming my husband for double the cost in US dollars. Left us with bad feelings about hotel

Wonderful location, kind staff, comfortable room. We were 3 women for two nights, and felt very safe in the area, and the room was plenty big enough for us and all of our stuff!!!

Great hotel, with an amazing location. The staff is really nice and helpfull. A lot of sounds can be heard and the bed could be a tad mon comfortable besides that I would totally recommand the place.

Staff was nice, very helpful organizing for very early morning transportation to airport. Breakfast was very good. Older hotel with high ceilings. Beds comfortable and rooms very large with a sitting area.

Overall a great choice for a family visit in London. Very quite and easy to access everywhere. Recommended.
