Came to Gainesville for a tour of UF. Don’t think I’d stay here again… when we got off the elevator, the area was being used as storage for sofa beds - they were stacked up along a wall. Our room was very humid even with the A/C on. I find that the coffee maker and ice bucket being located IN the bathroom where the toilet is, is rather unsanitary. There was a hair stuck to the wall outside the shower and a used bath towel hanging in our closet.

The hotel is in a ggod location, within walkable distance to stores and restaurants, but it is a old hotel. The carpets were dirty and the hot water did not work at all. I moved rooms to one with cleaner carpets, but the internet connection was poor. Nobody was able to fix this. It seemed this was not their problem.

This was the best Sleep Inn I have ever stayed at. Clean, comfortable, quiet, friendly staff, close to everything, and also a good breakfast. A+

Our room was quite spacious with 2 king beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was also roomy and the shower was especially nice.

The included breakfast was decent, there was hot water and electricity, so it made a fair refuge from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
However, if you're looking for a comfortable or luxurious stay, this isn't the place.

The wallpaper in the bathroom was literally stapled to the wall.
The airconditioning in the halls and stairways was inadequate at best, so they smelled damp and musty, as you'd expect in this humid climate.

We were only staying one night. Sylvia checked us in and she was pleasant, engaging and helpful.
The breakfast options were good and the area was clean and well kept.
The free cookies and popcorn were a nice surprise.

Great place! Loved the free cookies and popcorn in the lobby. There’s a shopping complex nearby which is super convenient. And there is quite a bit of parking space.
