Only spent nights here as we were out seeing the park. Had an issue with a noisy neighbor but was resolved by the management in a prompt manner

Atlantic Coastal Inn has a kind of New England charm. Our room was cozy and updated but kept the charm of its age. They had complimentary water and snacks which was great. Shower was hot, towels were thick and plush. The constsnt commubication from the hotel was amazing! The only drawback is the bed was a little hard for our comfort. Other than that our stay was great. Rooms were pretty soundproof...we were close to the busy and we barely heard the traffic noise!

Soon as we checked in I noticed the bed sheets and pillows had human hairs not just one piece but more than five which I removed and called the manager and showed her the sheets that obviously wasn’t changed also I could tell that it’s all wrinkled and used She apologized and changed them right away

Very nice room. Walking in this area is not very good. You need a cell phone with US service to get texts from the property to make check in easier.

Good place to stay in

It was great to have a microwave and refrigerator. Wish the rooms were a little bigger to accommodate a table. The mirror in the bathroom was so high I could only see the top of my head. Bathroom needed counter or table for toiletries. Mattress needed to replaced.

Super nice room and bathroom, great price point on the fly, much appreciated with a family member unexpectedly in the hospital in town - whew! Also very easy in and out.

Room 17b was adjoining the back of a house on the property, along with 17a. It obviously had been renovated to some degree to modernize an old building. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was the musky smell of mold. However, it was clean and well furnished with everything needed. The shower floor was somewhat mildewed to the point that we didn't want to stand on the floor. So my husband went without a shower and I showered with my sandals on. The bed was firm but clean and comfortable. Other than the odor, it was all bearable since we have stayed in much worse on the Appalachian Trail.

Room 17b was adjoining the back of a house on the property, along with 17a. It obviously had been renovated to some degree to modernize an old building. We stayed 3 nights at the Atlantic Coast Inn in Ellsworth to visit with family in Lemoine. Our room was ok. King bed was comfortable. Lighting poor. Very humid despite A/C - carpet was always damp. Odd smell in the air - not dirty but very dated. Bathroom was updated but tub shower quite small. Water was hot and soap and hair products were provided in a wall dispenser - all were filled. It is quite tricky to get out of the parking lot if you want to go left. Lots of restaurants and shopping very nearby. Decent location - price was good. Staff was helpful. Not sure we would make the same choice again.

Floor a little sticky in spots

Great place for a reasonable price! Just stayed there for the weekend to do Acadia National Park. I like how you don’t have to worry about a room key, because it’s a pin pad. Also, Martha’s Diner across the street is a good breakfast spot.

The rooms looked like they were recently updated and were super clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked that you didn't need a "key" to your room, it was a code that you just typed into the keypad on your door. There was a table and two chairs between each room on the outside for sitting or playing games which was a nice touch. Despite being fully booked, we never heard anyone else while in our room. All that being said, they need to move their sign to the other side of the entrance so that people can see it better and so that you know which building is the office. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be staying again.

Room had no closet nor clothes-hanging capacity. Staff reacted fast to request for iron and board. Staff frequently were not available, but phone response was OK.
