It's location near port houses was excellent. Lobby was interesting. Hotel too dark in ambiance and lighting and decor.

They charge you for parking, but don’t tell you until the end. The rooms are loud, however very comfortable beds. The websites always make you spend more before booking. Be careful for added fees

Excellent quality hotel, rooms very spacious, comfy bed, and modern. 3rd floor bar has a great view across the river to Porto. Lady doing service knows her wines and is very friendly - a relaxed atmosphere. 5 minutes walk down to the river side, bars, restaurants, river boats and Port Lodges all around. Cockburn Port Lodge sound 100 meters from hotel entrance.

Great overall. A few little things like no conditioner in my shower and no breakfast included which was unclear from the promotion very exceptional room and very pleasant stay.

It’s in a perfect location to walk around on the water. There are lots of restaurants super close by. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The gym is fantastic which was key to us. Bar on the third floor has a nice view of the river. Staff was super friendly and helpful

The hotel overall is a very pretty, aesthetically pleasing decor although there were a couple of things that were not very good. The pool is not accessible to the hotel guests unless you reserve a time and pay for the use of the pool and spa area. That’s the first time I have ever encountered this in a Hilton Hotel. The other issue is the motion sensored air conditioners. They go off of they don’t detect movement, so when you fall asleep you wake up in a pool of sweat. The first night our AC didn’t work at all and they had to move us at 12 at night after a long day of travel. They did move us to a cooler room but we had twin beds instead of a king bed we reserved, after which that didn’t have any more King rooms available. In response to our inconvenience, they left us a couple of cookies and a bottle of water with a “ sorry for your discomfort” note. The concierge was very helpful and the restaurant staff was very good but we expected better from the management at a Hilton.

All I can say is wow, the location was amazing, the hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, the rooms were large, comfortable and the details were excellent. For example the best shower and the towels were oversized for a spa like experience. The staff was amazing extremely courteous and knowledgeable. If you are not sure where to stay look no further. Beyond our expectations.

Have stayed at this location a number of times and would go back again without hesitation. The staff are helpful, polite and quick to respond to requests for service. The rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable beds, shower and toiletries amenities are top notch. Location is perfect, located right at the Douro River short walk to the bridge across to Porto.
