The hotel was AMAZING. The staff were kind and helpful and the location is perfect! The breakfast was delicious and they also have the rooftop restaurant that also had the best food. We originally planned to stay one day in Perugia and spend one day in Assisi but the town of Perugia was so beautiful and literally in front of the hotel, we decided to stay both days in Perugia. 100000/10 recommend. We wish we would’ve stayed longer in the area and in this hotel.

Fantastic pub perched on the edge of the cliff. We had a twin aspect room and could lie in bed staring at the open sea and the Cornish coastline, listening to the waves crashing below. Easy access down steps to beach. Great staff, attentive and friendly. We’re definitely going again - for longer!

We had a beautiful room on the 3rd floor overlooking the rooftops of Perugia all the way to the mountains. Very clean. Comfortable. Crisp, cotton sheets. Easy walk to Corso Venucci and the National Art museum.

This hotel is a gem! Everything was perfect, the hotel, the food and in particular the staff. This hotel is hands down the best I have ever stayed in and it beats the Waldorf Astoria in New York in every way!

This was a beautiful little hotel with thoughtful design and just great styling. The room was spacious with a well appointed and designed bathroom. I really liked the repurposed furniture and the colour styling. Obviously there has been thought in the overall look of the place which I really enjoyed. The terrace was gorgeous and lovely for breakfast. Well worth a stay.

What a stunning hotel! Right in the middle of Perugia old town, it’s close to all the sights. Hotel staff went above and beyond (advising on day trips, activities, restaurants). Truly a wonderful stay!

Lovely hotel with super friendly staff. We hung out at their roof top area during the day, which was great for the sunshine and a place to relax. We stayed here one night and came back to the city on our last day of our holiday and they graciously allowed us to leave our bags here whilst we explore the city on our last day, even though we weren't staying at the hotel that night. We really appreciated this. We would suggest that they change the bar fridge in the room to something quieter or put it in a cupboard as it was too loud at night and we ended up switching it off. Music at breakfast would also be good and a little more attention to people staying at the hotel during breakfast would've been better - it was a little awkward.

Our stay at the hotel was perfect. The hotel is in a very central location. We arrived fairly late at night and received a very warm welcome. The room was really clean, spacious and comfy. If you need a hotel in Perugia then I'd highly recommend The Secret Garden.

Really lovely hotel. Sadly we didnt get the room we booked. The room we were given was facing a very noisy alleyway which at the evenigs was bad. The breakfast was ok, not much choice but the coffee was lovely.
