great hotel with good value for money in downtown Chicago

My second stay at this hotel. It’s the perfect place for me when I go to Chicago on my own, usually for opera and museums. Rooms have what I need: fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, USB outlets, perfectly designed shower, comfortable bed, cleaned and supplied well. Staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful, especially Holle and Laura. Only concern: While I’m very glad Hilton has stopped handing out lots of small plastic containers with shampoo, etc, and is supplying paper cups, there was no recycle bin in the room. Also, seems all Hilton Garden Inns supply Keurig coffeemakers, with plastic coffee and tea pods. Guess they’re easier to clean but environmentally bad.

Room was good but the waitress in the breakfast was rude

I had a great stay at the Hilton Hotel! Arriving early, I was pleasantly surprised to get an early check-in and a room change to accommodate my party with double beds. The hotel staff was excellent—very accommodating and friendly. The only downside was that the dining area was closed that evening, which was a bit inconvenient after a long day of walking around the city. Overall, a wonderful experience and would recommend.

This hotel is in a perfect location. Most of what you would want to visit is walkable. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The staff, all the staff, were amazing. Very helpful, easy to talk with, ready to give advice to any questions you may have. I added the breakfast to my booking and the staff and food was delicious breakfast was cooked fresh when it was ordered. The reception staff was excellent. Recommend places to eat and things to see. After returning from being out all day they always asked what we did and did we enjoy ourselves. Whenever in Chicago this will be the only hotel I will stay at.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown Riverwalk and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city with easy access to top attractions. But what really stood out to me was the staff they were incredibly friendly, always greeting guests with warm smiles. Their welcoming attitude made me feel right at home, and they were always ready to assist with any requests. It’s rare to find a team that genuinely cares about their guests, and the staff here truly made a difference in my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chicago!
