The hotel was great for proximity to the train station but the area around the hotel is not somewhere you would want to walk around at night.

Hotel is right across train station, very convenient. Becareful walking the streets around the neighborhood. Will not recommend. No convenience stores nearby.

Super convenient directly across Fare St Charles snd two Metro lines. Two metro stops or 20 min walk to Old Port. Lots of places to eat as well. Nice breakfast, nice rooms, luggage storage.

Lovely, 1 min w3slk from train station comfortable, reception staff really friendly.... breakfast a little underwhelming..... no fridge in rooms.

I heard the area can be sketchy at night but the hotel put in a lot of security measures like scan into the buildings after 9pm, always scan in to get into the elevators, scan into the public bathroom.
It was conveniently located next to the train station. We look a shuttle from the airport to the train station and walked across the street and it was the hotel. Lots of small coffee shops and restaurants around the area. There is also a small grocery store right under the hotel.
Breakfast was included and delicious. There were a nice choice of fresh bread, pastries, cheese, fresh fruits, eggs, and pancakes.

We were told that they had overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. They took it upon themselves to book us down the street at another hotel. It had a shoebox room, and smelled of cigarettes. We looked it up on Expedia, and it was over $100 euros a night cheaper, with no mention from Holiday Inn about reimbursement. We contacted Expedia, and are awaiting refund.

Wonderful view from the 7th floor overlooking the city. Breakfast was great and staff were very welcoming. The luggage storage and late check ins were life savers for our check in after taking our train from Paris and allowed us to explore the city on foot

Air conditioning was not working & it was terribly hot & then there was a false alarm and we had to evacuate our rooms in the morning
And mold & ants in the bathroom

Clean and budget friendly hotel/near railway station. The front desk staffs were very polite and friendly.
