Absolutely loved our stay at Posada de Angel, the hotel is gorgeous as was our room. The huevos rancheros breakfast was soooo delicious. The staff is also so wonderful and helpful, can't recommend enough!

Really loved this hotel! It had the unique boutique vibe with comfy living spaces and rooms that had so much Antigua flair. The breakfast was delicious also. Easy check in and warm staff. Only negative was the WiFi in the room was really slow. Couldn’t load pics or videos. I had to sit in the common living room area to connect but luckily it was comfortable out there. Downloaded what I needed to out there and would then watch in my room.

Best place ever I loved me and my girlfriend cried remembering we had to leave. Gonna miss this place so much. Lovely staff and lovely cozy rooms. Will be back soon and will only be booking with this hotel don’t miss out on this experience !

Very nice property. The archeticture was beautiful and unique. I would stay again. But BEWARE. The WiFi is terrible in the queen room at the back of the property. Couldn't even watch a movie or keep my phone on the WiFi.

What a beautiful experience! The hotel staff and managers were exceptional! The continued everyday to go above and beyond with their attention and service! Upon entrance, I was told I was family for the week and I felt that every single day! The location was perfect. I could walk to everything but it was also on a quiet street. My room was always clean and perfect. I was able to relax on the beautiful terrace and feel so well taken care of. Delicious breakfast provided with exceptional service also! Highly recommend staying at La Posada del Angel! I can’t wait to return!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel. Tastefully decorated. Wonderful staff. Great location. Comfortable bedding with great towels, robe etc. The terrace is lovely, the common areas are all lovely. I highly recommend.

I stayed in 2 other more expensive hotels and this is the one I liked the most. Certainly the one I'll go back to whenever I find myself to be in Antigua Guatemala again. The quality of the products used are top notch, like everything else really. From the toiletries, all the way to the linen. The staff is so well-mannered, friendly, respectful and detail-oriented. The hotel itself is so well decorated, it's like travelling back in time to colonialism. Special mention to Natalia who treated me with so much kindness, patience and provided me with good recommendations and directions whilst also taking good photographs of myself. Also, to the cooks with their home-made style authentic guatemalan breakfast with locally sourced fresh quality ingredients that tempted me to go back just to have a taste of them again. Truly a gem! I wish i could rate it more than 5 stars. By the way, this is my first time reviewing anything on this site, so go figure how good my experience must have been for me to be doing it now.

The hotel itself is a real oasis of calm, with a beautiful roof terrace and cozy living room area to relax in. The breakfast was great too (especially the huevos rancheros). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We really can’t rate it highly enough.

It was a great overall experience; lovely house and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good and rooms had good space. Only negative aspect was the moldy smell on the room.
