A little dated. Room was small but excellent location, next to the first tee box, with a balcony. Water pressure was a little low.

In winter, seems like it is abandoned. No proper blanket provided. Just a thaw. No breakfast service as well. Temp control in room is not great.

no closet, hangers or anywhere to hang up clothes. cord for coffee maker did not reach plug. Had to put in on the floor.

Room was nice. Nice view of golf course and the golf course was beautiful!

The room we stayed in needs some fixing up. The towel ring fell off the wall (but we were able to screw it back on) and the side tables were extremely wobbly. The room has obviously seen some abuse but it was very clean. The hot water also smelled of sulphur, so having a jacuzzi tub wasn’t exactly the experience we had hoped for. The staff upon check in were extremely friendly and full of knowledge of the area. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, but will not likely stay there again due to value for the money.

Beautiful area Place water rotten egg smell, black powder in water, didn’t use shower or hot tub or drink water, place not cleaned properly When we got there had wrong address on your itinerary no special instructions to get access to Villa’s unit, tried call number no person just voicemail We met a construction guy in parking lot gave us the owner number Original gave us unit 204, finally after couple hours get in this unit, the unit wasn’t cleaned so we had to wait again to get another unit 202, is was a bit cleaner but the water had same issue, You say the rating is 4 star, be lucky to get a 2 star, very expensive for a so called 4 star hopefully we get some discount or refund There also no bottled water in fridge, no access to clean water Mike

Room was clean, nice. location good and price was good. Tv was missing the remote that was needed to watch it (a replacement couldnt be delivered because after hours and/or covid). No hot water in shower, but worked in jacuzzi which seemed odd (maybe pipe still frozen from winter??). The hot water going into the jacuzzi really smells and i dont think that problem is an easy fix. The office did offer a partial refund without me asking for the inconvenience. Problems one and two should have been noticed by staff prior to allowing guests. I’d give them another chance.

We rented the jacuzzi suite for a night and overall it was good. Room is cute and bed was comfy. Only thing I’d say was that the water coming out of the shower STUNK like rotting eggs

We enjoyed the the beautiful view of Calabogie Lake and spacious suite with big balcony overlooking the lake. The suite included a fully stocked kitchen, but it could have been cleaner. We appreciated the easy no-contact check in during these times.

The Calabogie Highlands have much potential but the accommodations are tired and in need of a facelift. The carpets are overdue to be replaced and some of the decks are in rough shape. The view is terrific and Joanne was absolutely fantastic to deal with but I would not go back until the suites are upgraded.

Staff were super friendly and helpful, location was great and the accommodations were very nice. All in all a good stay and I would go back.

I would not recommend going there in the winter time. We were the only people there and there was no mention of the restaurant being closed. Our room was not cleaned the next day. It must be lovely in the summer time.

Great little spot with lots of potential. The manager arranged for a late check in no problem. The only improvements I would suggest is that the carpet should probably be replaced soon, the hutch in the room serves no purpose but to take up space and a higher capacity hot water tank would be useful (ran out of hot water 3/4 into filling Jacuzzi tub).
