Liked the location, property is an older style, however is in great condition, well maintained. Apartment was very comfortable, parking access was easy. I would stay again.

Property was very close to the beach and cafes. Surf club at the end of the street. There is construction next door but that didn't bother us as we were out most of the time. Very quiet area. Park right next door. Will stay here again.

Unfortunately there was a construction site next door. No milk was available in the fridge for the coffee and tea sachets. When we made the phone call to reception to ask, we were informed there would be no milk to the Monday. There was a charge of $2.00 for extra toilet paper if we needed it.

Upon arrival we set to the reception, which to our surprise was a lady peeking out of her private window which stunk terribly and tainted our clothes for the rest of the day. Check in was not for several hours later and yet we were expected to keep our luggage outside in the weather conditions. When voicing our concerns of luggage getting stolen she promptly replied “most of the time it is ok”. After speaking to her, she agreed to let us leave our luggage on her “private” patio in the burning sun. When we came back later for check in, we were expected to clime 2 flights of stairs (no elevator) with heavy luggage. The room stunk, carpet was mismatched, and several signs alerting us of potential theft and to always lock our doors. Would not recommend, we immediately left and would never return.

Property is in a great location however Wotif should advise that construction is occurring directly next door and that the pool at the property is currently closed for repair. The common areas of the property also need attention, but overall the actual room was clean and tidy.

While the location is ideal for the beach, parks and surf club, the property itself is small and tired. This includes the apartments. A one-bedroom family apartment, with a pull-out bed in the living room, felt cramped and claustrophobic

How can you checkin at 2pm, when the office closes at 1pm. However the office was unattended even at 12, and manager did not answer calls to their phone. After more than 30 minutes manager arrived and response to my comment on crazy times was “ yes, it’s a bit tricky”. Needless to say we were fuming by then, no apology for leaving us standing in hot tropical sun. Front gate with code entry was out of order, and we were only able to enter because another guest let us in. While unit was fine for our needs, I would not go through crazy checkin process here again. If office is advertised as open it should be. Very bad service.

Service was supposed to be on a weekly basis, but on the 8th day we had to ask for a change of linen and towels, and had to make the bed ourselves. For the next 10 days neither other fresh linen not towels were given. The free Wi-Fi was never giving an Internet access, you could connect to Wi-Fi, but no outside connection was provided.

Close to lovely patrolled beach. Wifi was unreliable, secure parking available below building, managers friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our 5 night stay and liked the more laid back Mermaid Beach area.

Lovely comfy apartment , has everything you need and close to everything. short walk to beach, great choice of eating places within walking distance. Spa, pool & sauna were good though pool fairly deep for short people. 2 patios pretty private.
